Juan Manuel Olivares (born July 14, 1988, in Wilde, Argentina) is an Argentine footballer currently playing for Los Andes of the Primera B Metropolitana in Argentina.

Revolución: el cruce de los Andes is a 2010 Argentine historical epic film directed by Leandro Ipiña and starring Rodrigo de la Serna. It premiered during the bicentennial of Argentina. It was initially named San Martín: el cruce de los Andes.
The Cerro de la Gloria is a small mount located in the city of Mendoza, Argentina, at the General San Martín Park. It features a huge memorial monument to the Army of the Andes at the top. The monument is the work of Uruguayan sculptor Juan Manuel Ferrari, along with the Argentines Juan Carlos Oliva Navarro, Víctor Garino, Víctor Calistri, Víctor Guarini y Víctor Cerini. It was begun in 1911, as part of the celebrations of the Argentina Centennial of 1910. It was inaugurated on February 12, 1914, an anniversary of the Battle of Chacabuco. It features at its top an allegorical representation of Freedom (Libertad) or the Republic with broken chains, and an equestrian statue of San Martin, with the inscription "La Patria al Ejército de los Andes".

José Manuel Olivares is a Venezuelan politician and oncologist. In 2015, he was elected deputy of the National Assembly from Vargas. He is the president of the National Assembly's Health Subcommission, where he has spearheaded the National Health Crisis Provision Law and directed humanitarian aid to counteract the effects of the medicine shortage in Venezuela. He is also the president of the Permanent Commission on Integral Family Development. Olivares has been a major figure in the opposition movement against the government of Nicolás Maduro. In June 2018, Olivares and his family fled to Colombia, where he has helped direct the shipment of humanitarian aid to Venezuela.
