Juarno Marc-quin Augustus (born 9 December 1997) is a South African rugby union player for the Northampton Saints in the English Premiership, playing at number 8. He formerly played for the Stormers in Super Rugby and Western Province in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge. [1] Augustus will join Ulster on a 3 year contract for the 2025/26 season. [2]

Nicknamed “Thor”, he is known for his physical strength, anticipation under the high ball and leadership abilities. He is widely regarded as one of the best Number Eights in South African Rugby history.
