Judgement Yard is a Harare-based Dancehall and reggae group made up of music DJs. [1]

History

Judgement Yard was founded by Youngson Kudita also known as I-Randu in 2009 and consists of music DJs; I-Randu, DJ Flevah, Etherton Bennie, DJ 2Bad and Mc Tawastok aka Short Boss.

In 2013, they performed in Cape Town, South Africa. This was their very first foreign tour. [2] In early 2015, they made their debut appearance at the Zimbabwe Cup Clash, an annual musical show held in the United Kingdom. [3]

In 2018, they performed at Marafco Lounge in Pretoria, South Africa. This was their second tour of the country after a one legged Cape Town tour in 2013. [4] They have also performed in other various countries, including Australia, Dubai, Cyprus and Botswana. [5] [6] They have released a number of mixtapes which have featured various local Zimdancehall artists and international musicians from the reggae and dancehall genres. They also host one of the most popular radio shows in the country on ZiFM Stereo. [7]

On the First of January 2017, Tehn Diamond made his debut in the music industry with the release of his debut album titled 'a few good poems' and later that year they released the sequel to 'The Feeling Aint Fair' titled 'The Feeling Aint Fear' or just #TFAF2 with Jnr Brown & Take Fizzo. He starts in the movie Cook Off, Zimbabwe's first feature film to be released via Netflix.

Mukudzeyi Mukombe, better known as Jah Prayzah, is a Zimbabwean contemporary musician and lead member of the band Third Generation. Regarded as the most prolific musician of his generation in the country, he was popularly referred to by fans and media as "Masoja", the Shona word for "soldier", a name he earned mostly because of his signature band uniform of military regalia. The name "Jah Prayzah" comes from his name, "Mukudzeyi", which means "Praise Him".
