Judith Dipodiputro (born 12 September 1964) is a professional, social activist, film enthusiast, nationalist and political volunteer from Indonesia. She served as Special Staff to the Minister of State Owned Enterprises, [1] [2] as Commercial Director of PERUM BULOG (2017-2019) and President Director of PERUM Produksi Film Negara (2019 – 2021) during the tenure of Minister Rini M. Soemarno (2014 – 2019) and Erick Thohir.
Is member of the Indonesian Film Board (2022 – 2026) and Secretary of the Javan Gibbon Foundation (2012-present).
Judith Dipodiputro was born in Prague, Czech Republic, of mixed Javanese, European and Native American blood, to Jubilin Poerwowinoto and Guillermo Navarro, an Ecuadorian economist and politician. In 1969 her mother married Gunawan Iskandar Tirtodidjojo, a diplomat at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The eldest of 7 children, Judith Dipodiputro received her primary education abroad. Returned to her homeland in 1978, graduating from Paskalis Middle School and Santa Ursula High School in Jakarta. She received higher education at the University of Indonesia (1983), IPMI (2006) and became an IDEAS Fellow from MIT (2011).
Married in 1990 to Widharma Dipodiputro and is blessed with a daughter, Maral Dipodiputro.
Judith J. Dipodiputro started her career in the media sector. Became a broadcaster at the Voice of Indonesia and TVRI. Reached the position of Chief Editor of The Daily Executive Economic Digest (1995).
Subsequently served in national and multinational private companies: served as Deputy Director for Corporate Affairs and HR at Standard Chartered Bank (1987-1991), Vice President-Director at Total Explorations and Productions Indonesia (2007 – 2016), and Director at Citra Agratama Persada Group (1993 – 1999).
In government, she held the positions of Special Advisor to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Special Assitant to the Head of the State Apparatus Automation Coordinating Agency (1991 – 1993), Expert Staff to the State Minister for the Environment (1993 – 1996), Special Advisor to the Governor of East Kalimantan (1994-1998) and Special Advisor to the Regent Kutai Kartanegara (2003 – 2007).
Judith J. Dipodiputro is deeply concerned with education development, a commitment inherited from her grandfather, an educational figure from Banyumas, Central Java.
Starting from being a voluntary visiting teacher at various state high schools in Sumatra and Java, becoming the youngest administrator at the Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children and then building the Permata Hati Ibu Foundation and the Tiara Indonesia Foundation. Overseeing the formation of the Oil and Gas Polytechnic and Education Council (2003) in Handil, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, the Ibunda Istianah Foundation (1995) and the Luhur Bakti Pertiwi Foundation (2010).
•Starting in 1985, became member at Executive Boards of PERCASI, PBVSI, Drumband, PRIMA and KONI sports organizations. • Starting in 1985, became board member of PDDI and FIODS health organizations. • Starting in 1993, became founder or executive board member of environmental organizations the Kalpawilis Foundation and the Javanese Gibbon Foundation. • Starting in 1985, became founder or executive board member of the community economic empowerment organizations: Tiara Bakti Foundation, Rumah-Indonesia Foundation, Dian Insani Abadi Foundation, Bakti Total Bagi Indonesia Lestari Foundation, Indonesian Dialog Forum Foundation, Mina Rizki Abadi Cooperative.
Judith J. Dipodiputro is also an entrepreneur in the fields of management consulting, human resources and communications, trade, forestry, travel agency and film production.

Provinces are the first-level administrative divisions of Indonesia. It is formerly called the first-level provincial region before the Reform era. Provinces have a local government, consisting of a governor and a regional legislative body. The governor and members of local representative bodies are elected by popular vote for five-year terms, but governors can only serve for two terms. Provincial governments have the authority to regulate and manage their own government affairs, subject to the limits of the central government. The average land area of all 38 provinces in Indonesia is about 50,120.23 km2 (19,351.53 sq mi), and an average population of about 7,345,233 people.
South Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. It is the smallest province in Kalimantan, the Indonesian territory of the island of Borneo. The provincial capital was Banjarmasin until 15 February 2022 when it was legally moved to Banjarbaru. The population of South Kalimantan was recorded at just over 3.625 million people at the 2010 Census, and at 4.07 million at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 4,221,929. One of the five Indonesian provinces in Kalimantan, it is bordered by the Makassar Strait in the east, Central Kalimantan in the west and north, the Java Sea in the south, and East Kalimantan in the northeast. The province also includes the island of Pulau Laut, located off the eastern coast of Kalimantan, as well as other smaller offshore islands. The province is divided into 11 regencies and 2 cities. South Kalimantan is the traditional homeland of the Banjar people, although some parts of East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan are also included in this criterion. Nevertheless, South Kalimantan, especially the former capital city Banjarmasin has always been the cultural capital of Banjarese culture. Many Banjarese have migrated to other parts of Indonesia, as well as neighbouring countries such as Singapore and Malaysia. In addition, other ethnic groups also inhabit the province, such as several groups of the Dayaks, who mostly live in the interior part of the province, as well as the Javanese, who mostly migrated from Java due to the Transmigration program which dated from the Dutch colonial era. It is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has a larger population than Mongolia.
East Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. Its territory comprises the eastern portion of Borneo. It had a population of about 3.03 million at the 2010 census, 3.42 million at the 2015 census, and 3.766 million at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 4,030,488. Its capital is the city of Samarinda.
Bontang is a city on the eastern coast of the island of Borneo in Indonesia, in the province of East Kalimantan. It occupies an area of 161.88 km2 (62.50 sq mi), and the population was 140,787 at the 2010 census, and 178,917 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 189,968. It is also the third most densely populated place in the province after Balikpapan and Samarinda.
Angkasa Pura is the name used by two separate state-owned enterprises of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (InJourney) responsible for the management of airports in Indonesia. The two companies are PT Angkasa Pura I and PT Angkasa Pura II. Angkasa Pura I has its head office in Kemayoran, Jakarta, while Angkasa Pura II has its head office at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.
Malay Indonesians are ethnic Malays living throughout Indonesia. They are one of the indigenous peoples of the country. Indonesian, the national language of Indonesia, is a standardized form of Riau Malay. There were numerous kingdoms associated with the Indonesian Malays along with other ethnicities in what is now Indonesia, mainly on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. These included Srivijaya, the Melayu Kingdom, Dharmasraya, the Sultanate of Deli, the Sultanate of Siak Sri Indrapura, the Riau-Lingga Sultanate, the Sultanate of Bulungan, Pontianak Sultanate, and the Sultanate of Sambas. The 2010 census states that there are 8 million Malays in Indonesia; this number comes from the classification of Malays in East Sumatra and the coast of Kalimantan which is recognized by the Indonesian government. This classification is different from the Malaysia and Singapore census which includes all ethnic Muslims from the Indonesian archipelago as Malays.
The Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation is an Indonesian non-profit non-governmental organization founded by Dr. Willie Smits in 1991 and dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Bornean orangutan and its habitat through the involvement of local people. It is audited by an external auditor company and operates under the formal agreement with the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry to conserve and rehabilitate orangutans. The BOS Foundation manages orangutan rescue, rehabilitation and re-introduction programmes in East and Central Kalimantan. With more than 400 orangutans in its care and employing more than 440 people at a 10 sites BOS Foundation is the biggest non-human primate conservation non-governmental organization worldwide. Nyaru Menteng and Samboja Lestari are the BOS Foundation sites that have received most extensive media coverage. Nyaru Menteng, founded by Lone Drøscher Nielsen, has been the subject of a number of TV series, including Orangutan Diary, Orangutan Island and the series Orangutan Jungle School, airing since 2018.

Samboja Lestari is a Bornean orangutan rescue and rehabilitation centre, tropical rainforest restoration project, sun bear sanctuary, and eco-lodge located in the district of Samboja in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, owned and operated by the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation. According to its founder, Willie Smits, Samboja Lestari uses the principles of People, Planet, Profit, attempting to provide incomes for local people using conservation. It is located about 38 kilometres from Balikpapan.
The Universitas Mulawarman is a public university located in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It was established on September 27, 1962, making it the oldest tertiary education institution in East Kalimantan. With more than 35,000 students, Universitas Mulawarman is the university with the most students in Kalimantan. Its main campus is in Gunung Kelua, while other campuses are in Pahlawan Road, Banggeris Street and Flores Street of Samarinda.
North Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. It is located on the northernmost of Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo. North Kalimantan borders the Malaysian states of Sabah to the north and Sarawak to the west, and by the Indonesian province of East Kalimantan to the south. Tanjung Selor serves as the capital of the province, while Tarakan is the largest city and the financial centre.

Erau is an Indonesian biennial cultural festival, taking place in the city of Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. The word Erau is derived from the Kutai word eroh, meaning crowded, noisy, joyful.
Malinau Regency is a regency of North Kalimantan Province in Indonesia. It was created on 4 October 1999 from the western districts of Bulungan Regency. The administrative centre is the town of Malinau. The regency is home to the Kayan Mentarang National Park. It covers an area of 38,911.80 km2, and had a population of 62,423 at the 2010 Census and 82,510 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 85,073. It is the regency with the largest area in the province, as well as the least densely populated. Other than that, Malinau is the only regency in North Kalimantan that is predominantly Protestant and the second most-developed region in North Kalimantan after Tarakan in terms of Human Development Index.
Tanjung Selor is the capital of both the North Kalimantan province in Indonesia, and of the Bulungan Regency. It is among provincial capitals in Indonesia that as of 2021 does not yet have city status, together with Mamuju in West Sulawesi, Sofifi in North Maluku, Wanggar in Central Papua, Wamena in Highland Papua, Salor in South Papua, and Manokwari in West Papua. The district has an area of 677.77 km2 and had a population of 39,439 at the 2010 Census and 56,569 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 63,588.

Nusantara Capital City Authority is a cabinet level-agency formed by the Indonesian government, working directly under the President of Indonesia. The agency will become a special agency tasked with managing and governing the city of Nusantara, future capital of Indonesia located on Kalimantan.
