Judith Ann Graley (born 26 January 1957) is an Australian politician.
Graley was born in Sunshine,Victoria,and graduated from Sunshine West High School in 1974. She attended La Trobe University from 1975 to 1978,receiving a BA (Hons),and went on to receive a Diploma of Education from the University of Melbourne in 1979. In 1980 she returned to La Trobe University as a tutor in the Department of Politics,and the following year became a secondary teacher at Footscray.
Judith Graley served as a local government councillor for the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council from 1997 to 2003 and was its mayor from 2000 to 2001. [1]
She was a tutor at the University of Melbourne from 1995 to 2000,and in 2002 became electorate officer to Labor MP Alistair Harkness;she worked for Tim Holding from 2004. [2]
In 2006,Graley was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as the Labor member for Narre Warren South,having defeated sitting member Dale Wilson for preselection. Graley had been supported by the Labor Right faction. [2] She did not seek re-election at the 2018 state election and retired in October 2018. [3]
Joan Elizabeth Kirner was an Australian politician who was the 42nd Premier of Victoria,serving from 1990 to 1992. A Labor Party member of the Parliament of Victoria from 1982 to 1994,she was a member of the Legislative Council before later winning a seat in the Legislative Assembly. He contested his first election as premier at the November 2010 Victorian state election. His government was defeated by the Liberal/National Coalition led by Ted Baillieu. Brumby resigned as Labor leader after the election,on 30 November,to be replaced by Daniel Andrews. Within weeks of this leadership change,Brumby left parliament,with a Broadmeadows by-election taking place on 19 February 2011.
Jacinta Marie Allan is an Australian politician serving as the 49th and current premier of Victoria since 2023. She has been the leader of the Victorian branch of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) since 2023 and has been a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the district of Bendigo East since 1999. She previously served as the 29th deputy premier of Victoria from 2022 to 2023.
