Juha Matti Pellervo Kankkunen is a Finnish former rally driver. His factory team career in the World Rally Championship lasted from 1983 to 2002. He won 23 world rallies and four drivers' world championship titles, which were both once records in the series. Both Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier have since collected more world titles, but no driver was able to repeat Kankkunen's feat of becoming a world champion with three different manufacturers until Ogier matched this achievement in 2020.
The Dudesons are a Finnish entertainment group. They are best known for their TV shows and live performances, which are a combination of stunts and comedy. Their early TV shows were similar to Jackass. Starting their television career in the early 2000s, they gained international fame and had a show on the American television channel MTV in 2010. After The Dudesons in America, the group started to shift from the stunts to more multidimensional careers.

Komisario Palmun erehdys is a 1960 Finnish crime comedy film directed by Matti Kassila for Suomen Filmiteollisuus. It is set in 1930s Helsinki and centers on Inspector Palmu's investigation of the murder of rich and decadent Bruno Rygseck. It is based on Mika Waltari's 1940 novel of the same name, and was the first film adaptation of his Inspector Palmu novels.
Finland participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Lose Control" written by Waldo, Karima, Ari Lehtonen and Annie Kratz-Gutå. The song was performed by the band Waldo's People. The Finnish broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle) organised the national final Euroviisut 2009 in order to select the Finnish entry for the 2009 contest in Moscow, Russia. 12 entries were selected to compete in the national final, which consisted of three semi-finals, a Second Chance round and a final, taking place in January 2009. Eight entries ultimately competed in the final on 30 January where votes from the public selected "Lose Control" performed by Waldo's People as the winner.
A Man's Work, also known as A Man's Job in the United States, is a 2007 Finnish drama film directed by Aleksi Salmenperä. It was Finland's submission to the 80th Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film but was not accepted as a nominee. It was also entered into the 29th Moscow International Film Festival.
Juha is a 1999 Finnish film written, directed, produced and edited by Aki Kaurismäki. The film is loosely based on a famous 1911 novel Juha by the Finnish author Juhani Aho marking this as the fourth time the novel was adapted for the screen. The original story takes place in the 18th century but Kaurismäki's remake is set sometime in the latter half of the 20th century. It tells the story of a love triangle where a simple peasant woman leaves her husband after falling in love with a modern city slicker. Juha is a silent film shot in black-and-white with dialogue in the form of intertitles. Special release prints with titles in several different languages were produced for international distribution.

Vares: Private Eye is a 2004 Finnish crime film directed by Aleksi Mäkelä. It is based on the eleventh Vares novel Keltainen leski (1999) by Reijo Mäki. The setting is Turku, a city on the west coast of Finland. It stars Juha Veijonen as private detective Jussi Vares who investigates a case involving a large amount of dirty money. The film is the first of nine films in the Vares series. The first sequel, V2: Dead Angel, was released in 2007.

Little Brother, Big Trouble: A Christmas Adventure, is a 2012 Finnish-Danish-Irish 3D computer-animated comedy/adventure film, produced by Finnish studios Anima Vitae and Cinemaker OY, with co-producers Ulysses (Germany), A. Film (Denmark), and Tidal Films (Ireland). The animation was produced in Finland, Germany and Denmark, with post-production carried out in Ireland. It is the sequel to The Flight Before Christmas and was written by Hannu Tuomainen and Marteinn Thorisson, and directed by Kari Juusonen and Jørgen Lerdam. It was released in Finland on October 12, 2012. Anima Vitae and Cinemaker OY were nominated for Cartoon Movie Tributes 2013 in the category “European Producer of the Year”. Like its predecessor, it is among the most expensive Finnish films ever produced.
Juha Wuolijoki is a Finnish director, writer and producer and the CEO-founder of the production and distribution company Snapper Films. Founded in 1998, Snapper Films is based in Helsinki and Los Angeles and it's one of the leading production companies in Finland. Juha has a Master of Arts Degree (1995) from the University of Arts and Design. He's best known as the director, co-writer and producer of award-winning features Gourmet Club (2004), Christmas Story (2007) and Hella W (2011).
Maria Mikaela Markuntytär Ylipää is a Finnish singer and actress, who has starred in the musical Kristina från Duvemåla and acted in the films Keisarikunta (2004) and Pietà (2007). She has also appeared in the television series Rikospoliisi Maria Kallio (2003), Tappajan näköinen mies (2011) and Luottomies (2016) as well as musical theatres Helsinki City Theatre, Tampere Workers' Theatre, Swedish Theatre, Gothenburg opera house and the Stockholm Cirkus.
