Julia Longorkaye is a paralympic athlete from Kenya competing mainly in category T12 middle-distance events.
Julia competed in the 400m, 800m and 1500m at the 2004 Summer Paralympics winning the silver medal in the longer distance. [1]
Zambia competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. The country's delegation consisted of a single athlete, middle-distance runner Larson Katongo. The 21-year-old Katongo, who is visually impaired, participated in the 800 metre and 1500 metre events. Although he had competed in international meets before, this was his first Paralympic Games. Katongo's trainer is Paul Mwansa.
Chinese Taipei competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. The country took a gold medal won by Chiang Chih Chung in the men's F13 javelin throw event. Chih threw a distance of 57.28 metres to win the competition and broke the world record in the process. The Chinese Taipei team also won two silvers and two bronze medals in table tennis.
