Juliet Escoria is an American writer. She was born in Australia, raised in San Diego, and lives in West Virginia with her husband, the writer and martial artist Scott McClanahan. [1]

She published a collection of stories with accompanying videos [2] titled Black Cloud (2014). Black Cloud received positive reviews at Flavorwire , [3] Bullet Magazine [4] and Volume 1 Brooklyn [5] It was mentioned in the lists of best books of 2014 at The Fader , [6] Salon , [7] and Flavorwire .

Escoria’s work has appeared in publications such as Electric Literature, Hobart, [8] VICEThe Believer, [9] and Guernica. Escoria holds an MFA in Fiction Writing from Brooklyn College.

Escoria also created companion videos to accompany the stories in Black Cloud. [10]

Two Dollar Radio is an independent family-run publisher based in Columbus, Ohio. The company was founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Eric Obenauf and Eliza Jane Wood-Obenauf, with Brian Obenauf. The press specializes in literary fiction. In 2013 they launched their micro-budget film division, Two Dollar Radio "Moving Pictures." In 2017 they co-founded the annual Columbus, Ohio, arts festival The Flyover Fest. Witch house is a dark, occult-themed dark electronic music microgenre and visual aesthetic that emerged in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Scott McClanahan is an American writer, economist, and martial artist. He lives in Beckley, West Virginia and is the author of eight books. His most recent book, The Sarah Book, was featured in Rolling Stone, Village Voice, and Playboy. NPR called the book "brave, triumphant and beautiful — it reads like a fever dream, and it feels like a miracle." McClanahan is also a co-founder of Holler Presents, a West Virginia-based production and small press company.

Mira Gonzalez is an American poet. Her first collection, i will never be beautiful enough to make us beautiful together, was published by Spencer Madsen of Sorry House press on January 31, 2013. According to Liza Darwin in Nylon magazine, Gonzalez is part of a "whole new crop of cool girl poets" whose work is "clever, totally unfiltered, and peppered with twisted insight and refreshing humor." She has been published in magazines including Vice, Hobart, and Muumuu House. In 2015, Gonzalez and Tao Lin released Selected Tweets, a collaborative double-book featuring selections from three of her Twitter accounts, as well as visual art and "extras". In 2015, the singer Lily Allen posted an image of her hand above Gonzalez's i will not be beautiful enough... book of poems, which led to speculation that the singer's marriage was on shaky ground. Gonzalez has described her writing process as follows:

I will spend hours on one sentence sometimes, and if I feel that sentence isn’t expressing exactly what I want it to express, I will delete the sentence entirely. I think it takes a lot of precision and tedious work.

Yung Lean Swedish rapper and record producer

Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, known professionally as Yung Lean, is a Swedish rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Born in Minsk and raised in Södermalm, Yung Lean rose to prominence in 2013 with his song "Ginseng Strip 2002" which became a viral success on YouTube. In 2013, he released his debut mixtape, Unknown Death 2002, and the following year he released his debut studio album, Unknown Memory. In 2016, Yung Lean released the mixtape Frost God, and his second studio album, Warlord. In 2017, he released his third studio album, Stranger, followed by his third mixtape, Poison Ivy, in November 2018.

Hannah Diamond is an English singer, songwriter, photographer and visual artist. She has released ten solo singles on the PC Music record label since 2013, and her single "Attachment" was called "bubblegum hyper reality" by Stereogum. Her music often develops an aesthetic of heavily produced cuteness in tension with sincerity. Diamond has been one of PC Music's more serious attempts to establish "a new kind of popstar". She released her debut studio album, Reflections, on 22 November 2019.

QT (musician) American performance artist

Hayden Frances Dunham is an American performance artist known for her musical project QT, an initialism for Quinn Thomas. QT is a pop singer portrayed by Dunham who promotes and is the living embodiment of the semi-fictitious DrinkQT energy drink. Her debut single "Hey QT", produced by A. G. Cook and Sophie, was released in 2014.

Glasslands Gallery

Glasslands Gallery was a music venue, dance club and art space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn founded by Brooke Baxter and Rolyn Hu. Hu and Baxter owned and ran GlassLands from 2006-2012. In 2012 they made a turn key sale to Rami Haykal and Jake Rosenthal. Rosenthal and Haykal ran the space for two years until the venue was converted into Vice Media's office headquarters. As a concert venue, it was one of the longest-running of several experimental and DIY spaces in the vicinity of the Williamsburg waterfront, which included Death By Audio, Secret Project Robot, Monster Island and 285 Kent.

Kristopher Jansma is an American fiction writer and essayist. Born in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township, New Jersey, he attended Johns Hopkins University and Columbia University.
