Justujoo is an Indian soap opera which aired on Zee TV on Tuesday evenings in 2002. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] Justajoo went off air after 50 episodes. According to the producer, "with Justajoo we covered only office expenses and made no profit." Justujoo is re-telecasted on 9X channel in 2013.
Justujoo is about a lawyer, Lalit Sharma (Harsh Chhaya), his wife Leela (Pallavi Joshi) and her sister Neerja (Arpita Pandey). The story revolves about how Lalit is fed up with his uneducated and old fashioned wife. He gets drawn towards his educated, career-oriented, modern sister-in-law, Neerja (Arpita Pandey). Neerja is married to Mehul (Nitesh Pandey) but their relationship does not last. Later, Neerja gets pregnant after getting into a relationship with her brother-in-law. She has a baby girl, but dies soon after that. Leela raises Neerja's daughter as her own child, along with her own two daughters. Leela and Lalit already have two daughters of their own; they grow up and get married. Leela's elder daughter does not like her stepsister. Neerja's daughter never finds the truth that Leela is not her real mother. The story ends with Leela, her husband and Neerja's daughter looking at the stars in the sky.

Hasratein (Desires) is an Indian television soap opera that was telecast on Zee TV in the mid 1990s. It is based on the Marathi novel "Adhantari" by Late Shri Jaywant Dalvi. Hasratein focuses around successes of extra marital relationships. One of the main story is of Savi, a woman who leaves her husband and maintains an extra-marital relationship with another married man, with both their spouses being aware of the situation. Her actions were due to the fact that years ago, during her childhood, her mother left her father for a young man. The show emphasizes the societal strain placed on marriages in Indian culture, especially roles given to the female spouse resulting in boredom felt by the male spouse. Hasratein was one of the most popular television shows of the mid and late 1990s. According to Shubhra Gupta, film and television critic, the popularity of the serial "had made it a catalyst for the discussion of issues of marital discord, in spite of the embarrassment the serial generated for many people."
Kehta Hai Dil is an Indian soap opera that aired on Star Plus channel from 2 July 2002 to 29 March 2005, and is produced by UTV Software Communications. The story is based on the life of a girl named Karishma and portrays the dramatic events that occur in her life, which affect her entire family - who lives in the small, idyllic town of Anand Nagar. The series was initially based on the American CBS series Picket Fences. However soon the story was entirely deviated from Picket Fences.

Harsh Chhaya is an Indian actor. He debuted in a minor role as "Jijo" in the early 1990s Zee TV series Tara, but first came into prominence in the role of Krishnakant Trivedi (KT) in mid 1990s TV series Hasratein, where he portrayed the character of a wealthy boss who exploited his married employee (Savi) into an extramarital affair with him. Chhaya somewhat developed the on-screen image of a wealthy boss and played the similar character in the 2007 Bollywood film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, where he takes advantage of his employee, played by Rani Mukerji.
