Juz Entertainment (stylized as JUZ Entertainment) is a Kazakhstani record label and management agency established in 2014 by Kazakhstani singer Erbolat Bedelhan. [2]

History

JUZ Entertainment was established in 2014 by singer Erbolat Bedelhan, a member of Kazakhstani boy group Orda. [3] The company debuted boy group Ninety One as its first artist in September 2015. In November 2018, the company debuted Alba, a former member of the pop band BN. In February 2019, the company signed rapper Ne1tron. On July 25, 2019, the company signed the top eleven contestants of the boy group reality show Project X as trainees, with three of them being confirmed to debut alongside Ne1tron in the upcoming boy group DNA. In August 2020, Ninety One member and leader AZ left the group and Juz Entertainment. In June 2021, Ne1tron left both DNA and Juz Entertainment. Later that month, Juz introduced Project X contender Tiny as the new member of the group. However, in September 2021, DNA disbanded and all the members left Juz Entertainment. Later that month, the five remaining Juz trainees from Project X left the company and debuted as members of the boy group Alpha, under Ten Label. On March 12, 2022, Juz Enrtertainment has announced that boy group Ninety One will be leaving the company and will continue activities independent of a label. [4]

The Alash Autonomy, also known as Alash Orda, was an unrecognized Kazakh proto-state located in Central Asia and was part of the Russian Republic, and then Soviet Russia. The Alash Autonomy was founded in 1917 by Kazakh elites, and disestablished after the Bolsheviks banned the ruling Alash party. The goal of the party was to obtain autonomy within Russia, and to form a national democratic state. The political entity bordered Russian territories to the north and west, the Turkestan Autonomy to the south, and China to the east.

Töle Biy, or Töle Älibekūly was the head biy of the Kazakh senior juz, as well as an author, orator, poet, politician and a public figure. He was born in Jaysan in what is now Shu district, Jambyl oblast in 1663.

Ninety One or 91 is a Kazakh boy group formed by JUZ Entertainment in 2015. The band consists of four members: Alem, Ace, Zaq, and Bala. Once a five-member group, A.Z. left in 2020. Ninety One is the pioneer act of a new musical genre called Q-pop (Qazaq-pop) which could be called a synthesis of Western and Asian pop music. The group was produced by Yerbolat Bedelkhan, a member of the Kazakh music unit "Orda".

Q-pop or Qazaq pop is a music genre originating in Kazakhstan. It is a modern form of Kazakhstani pop music sung in Kazakh, incorporating elements of Western pop music, Kazakhstani hip hop, EDM, R&B and Toi-pop, with heavy influences from K-pop of South Korea. The genre first surfaced in 2015 when the first Q-pop group, Ninety One debuted. Since then the genre has experienced growing popularity among Kazakhstani youths, with more Q-pop artists forming and debuting.

He is included in the Forbes List of the Top 50 influential entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, and his personal fortune is estimated at US$415 million. Idrisov owns Kazakhstan Municipal Systems LLP, which operates in the Turkestan, Karaganda, Mangystau, and East Kazakhstan regions of Kazakhstan. He is chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kazakhstan Municipal Systems LLP and a member of the Board of Trustees of AlmaU.

Azamat Satybaldy is a Kazakhstani actor of drama theater, cinema, producer, and television presenter. He is an Honored Artist of Kazakhstan (2014). He is also the Dean of Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Oljas Bektenov</span> Prime Minister of Kazakhstan since 2024

Oljas Abaiūly Bektenov is a Kazakh politician who has served as the prime minister of Kazakhstan since 2024. Prior to his appointment as prime minister in February 2024, Bektenov held various positions, including deputy chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption from 2018, and later as the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency from 2022 to 2023. He was appointed as the Head of the Administration of the President.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Bektenov Government</span>

The Bektenov Government is the 19th and current composition of the government of Kazakhstan under the leadership of Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov. The government was formed on 6 February 2024, after Bektenov was appointed as the PM by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and received parliamentary approval, succeeding the previous cabinet led by Älihan Smaiylov. The initial composition of the cabinet featured four newly appointed ministers.
