Jyoti Radheshyam Gaderiya (born 1998) is an Indian para cyclist from Maharashtra. She qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris. [1] [2] She competes in the women's elite C2 category. [3] At the Paris Paralympics on 29 August 2024, she finished 10th in the Women's 3000 m individual pursuit C1-3 with a time of 4:53.929. [4]

Early life

Gaderiya comes from a family of farmers and started as a kabaddi player. [3] She took up cycling after she met with an life-threatening accident in 2016. She trains at Hyderabad with Aditya Mehta Foundation. [1] The para athletes from the foundation met the chief minister A. Revanth Reddy and briefed him about the preparations for the Paralympics. [5]

She is named as the flagbearer for India at the Paris Paralympics opening ceremony along with Sumit Antil.

Anita is an Indian para rower from Rajasthan. She qualified for the 2024 Summer Paralympics along with Narayana Konganapalle at the World Rowing Asian and Oceanian Olympic and Paralympic Qualification 2024. She won a silver medal in the PR3 mixed doubles sculls earlier, along with Narayana, at the 2022 Asian Para Games at Hangzhou, China.

Pooja Ojha is an Indian para athlete from Madhya Pradesh who competes in canoeing. She qualified for the 2024 Summer Paralympics in the canoeing women's KL1 event. India earned quota places for the following events through the 2023 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Duisburg, Germany; and 2024 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Szeged, Hungary. Earlier, she represented India at the 2022 Asian Para Games at Hangzhou, China.

Manu is an Indian para athlete who competes in shot put event. He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris. He competed in the men's shot put F37 category at the Paralympics and finished sixth with a 13.86m throw.
