K. Harish Gowda is an indian politician hailing from the state of Karnataka. [1] [2] He is a member of the legislative assembly (MLA) for Chamaraja Assembly constituency of Chamaraja,Karnataka. [3] [4] He is a member of the Indian National Congress.
In the 2023 elections,Gowda from the Indian National Congress,secured victory in the seat,defeating L. Nagendra from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by a margin of 4094 votes. [5] He also contested in the same Chamaraja Assembly constituency in 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election and polled 21,282 votes and came forth.
The Janata Dal (Secular) (transl. People Party (Secular);abbr.JD(S)) is an Indian regional political party recognised as a state party in the state of Karnataka,Kerala and Arunachal Pradesh. It was founded by the former prime minister of India H. D. Deve Gowda in July 1999 as a breakaway faction from the Janata Dal.

Siddaramaiah was a member of various Janata Parivar factions for several years.
K. S. Eshwarappa is an Indian politician and a senior Bharatiya Janata Party member,who was the 6th Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka,in the government headed by Jagadish Shettar. He has also served as the Minister for Energy,Minister for major irrigation and water resources and also the State President of BJP Karnataka unit. Jagadish Shivappa Shettar is an Indian politician,who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 2012 to 2013. He is currently serving as Member of Karnataka Legislative Council. He has subsequently served as Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He also served as the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly during 2008–2009. He is a member of the Indian National Congress. Earlier he was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party,which he quit on being denied the MLA ticket in 2023. He represented Hubli-Dharwad Central Vidhan Sabha seat,which he resigned in 2023 before the elections.

Basavaraj Somappa Bommai is an Indian politician and engineer who served as the 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka from 18 July 2021 to 19 May 2023.
