Koninklijke Londerzeelse Sportkring, often referred to as K. Londerzeel S.K., is a Belgian association football club based in the community of Londerzeel.
The club was founded in 1929 as Londerzeel Sportkring and played in the Flemish Football Association (Vlaamsche Voetbalbond), a concurrent of the Belgian Football Association. After the Second World War, the club joined the Belgian Football Association and was appointed the startnummer 3630.
In 1980 the club reached the Belgian Fourth Division, the lowest national division. The following season they were also joined by cross-town rivals Delta Londerzeel. Together with Delta, SK relegated in 1984. In the early 1990s they played in the Fourth Division again, but the club would eventually suffer relegation again in 1994. In 1999 they returned to the fourth tier, and were able to stay up, accomplishing a third place in the league table.
After two seasons in the middle bracket, the team managed to finish second in their division in 2004, and enforced a spot in the play-offs. In the second round, however, they lost to White Star Lauwe. [1] The following season, Londerzeel again achieved a place in the play-offs. This time they lost to Sottegem in the first round. [2] In 2006, Londerzeel were finally able to win promotion. The team finished top of the league after an exciting season in which they won the title on the last day of play after a 4–0 away victory against Dilbeek Sport, which ensured promotion to the Belgian Third Division for the first time. In 2008, after two years at this level, the team were relegated to the fourth division again.
In 2013, Londerzeel were promoted back to Third Division. After the reform of amateur football in Belgium, the club began playing in the Belgian Division 2 in 2019. [3]
Koninklijke Lierse Sportkring, often simply known as Lierse, was a Belgian professional football club from the city of Lier in the Antwerp province. Lierse have won four championship titles and two Belgian Cups. Lierse was one of the seven Belgian clubs to have played in the UEFA Champions League group stage, the others being Anderlecht, Antwerp, Club Brugge, Genk, Standard Liège and KAA Gent.
KSK Beveren is a Belgian football club from Beveren in East Flanders with founded number 2300 and with yellow and blue as colors. The club became national champion twice in its existence and won the Belgian Cup twice. The men's branch of the club was temporarily discontinued in 2010, until 2022 only the women's team played at the Royal Belgian Football Association under founding number 2300. In 2022, after an agreement with Waasland-Beveren, the founding number was released again for men's football, so the club has been active since the 2022–23 season again with a men's team. KSK Beveren is the first football club in Belgium that is completely controlled by supporters and is bound by the principles of Supporters Direct.

Koninklijke Voetbal Club Westerlo is a Belgian professional football club located in the municipality of Westerlo in the province of Antwerp. Since 1997–98, Westerlo has been mostly playing in the Belgian Pro League, save for a short stint in the Belgian Second Division between 2012 and 2014. Their highest finish is a 6th place in 1999–00, 2003–04 and 2008–09. They have won one Belgian Cup. The only player who has ever been called up for the Belgium national football team while at Westerlo is Toni Brogno.
Sportkring Beveren is a Belgian professional association football club based in Beveren, East Flanders. The club is affiliated with the founded number 4068 and has yellow and blue as its colours. The team was founded in 1936 in Haasdonk and joined the Belgian Football Association in 1944 as FC Red Star Haasdonk. In 2002, the club moved to Sint-Niklaas and changed its name to KV Red Star Waasland. From 2010, it continued to play in Beveren under the name KVRS Waasland - SK Beveren until 2022, when it was renamed Sportkring Beveren. They play in the Challenger Pro League.
The Belgian Third Division was the third highest level in Belgian football. It had two leagues of 18 teams each at the same level. This competition, originally known as the Belgian Promotion was first played in the 1926-27 season with three leagues, then with four leagues between 1931 and 1952. From 1952 on, only two leagues remained and the competition was named the Third Division. Originally set to 16 clubs, the number of clubs in each division was increased in 2009 to 18 clubs. At the end of the regular season, both league winners promoted to the second division and a play-off was played to determine a possible third club to promote. The champion of the third division was determined after a two-legged match between the winners of the two leagues. If those matches ended in a draw, a third match was played on a neutral ground. However, in recent years this final game was not organised anymore due to lack of interest. In 2016, the Belgian Third Division was replaced by the Belgian Second Amateur Division.

The club colours are orange and black and the team currently plays in the Challenger Pro League, the second division of Belgian football, having won promotion from the Belgian Second Amateur Division in 2020. Their home stadium is the 7,515-capacity Burgemeester Van de Wiele Stadion.

The 1960–61 season was the 58th season of competitive football in Belgium. Standard Liège won their second Division I title. K Lierse SK entered the 1960–61 European Champion Clubs' Cup as Belgian title holder and RU Saint-Gilloise entered the 1960–61 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. The European Cup Winners' Cup was first played this season but no Belgian club participated since the Belgian Cup had not been played since 1955–56. The Belgium national football team started their qualifying campaign for the 1962 FIFA World Cup by 3 losses and were thus already eliminated at the end of the season with yet one match to be played.
KFC Zwarte Leeuw is a Belgian football club from Rijkevorsel. The club was founded on April 25 1926 and is affiliated to the Royal Belgian Football Association with base number 1124. Mid-March all matches were temporarily postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Belgium, only to be canceled permanently two weeks later, with the standing as of March 12 counting as final. As a result, Knokke, Tienen and Francs Borains were crowned champions in their respective league and were each promoted to the 2020–21 Belgian First Amateur Division.
