K. P. B. Hinduja College of Commerce is a college in South Mumbai area of Charni Road, Mumbai, India. It was established in 1974 and has a student population of 6000 and 105 teachers. The college offers 25 courses from the higher secondary up to the doctorate level. It was founded by Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja, the founder of the Hinduja Group. [1] [2]
Hutatma Chowk ("Martyrs' Square,, is a square in South Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The square hosts Flora Fountain and was known by that name until 1961 when it was officially renamed in memory of the members of Samyukta Maharashtra Samiti, who lost their lives when police fired upon their peaceful demonstration in 1956. The P. D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre is a multi-specialty, tertiary-care hospital in Mumbai, India. It was founded in 1951 by Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja, in collaboration with the Massachusetts General Hospital, the main teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, Boston. The hospital is owned and operated by the London-based Hinduja Group, through Hinduja Healthcare Limited, which also operates Hinduja Healthcare Surgical at Khar, Mumbai. Indira Hinduja is an Indian gynecologist, obstetrician and infertility specialist based in Mumbai. Previously she delivered India's first test tube baby at KEM Hospital on 6 August 1986. She is also credited for developing an oocyte donation technique for menopausal and premature ovarian failure patients, giving the country's first baby out of this technique on 24 January 1991.
Luis Jose De Souza is an Indian surgical oncologist and the founder of Shanti Avedna Ashram, a charitable trust which runs a network of hospices in Mumbai and Goa. He has also contributed to the establishment of Indian Cancer Cell, an educational program co-sponsored by Tata Memorial Centre, Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and Indian Cancer Society, for creating cancer awareness in schools. The Government of India awarded him the fourth-highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri in 1992.
Tehemton Erach Udwadia was an Indian surgeon and gastroenterologist, considered by many as the father of laparoscopic surgery in India. He was a general surgeon at two Mumbai hospitals, Breach Candy Hospital and Hinduja Hospital and was the founder president of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2006 and the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan in 2017 for his contributions to Indian medicine.
Nityanand Mandke was an eminent and successful cardiac surgeon from Mumbai. He had carried out over 10,000 cardiac surgeries which is one of the records. A book named Hridayasth has been published. The book is based on Nityanand's career and it is high sold in Marathi and English.

Zarir Udwadia is an Indian pulmonologist and researcher. His work on drug resistant tuberculosis has led to improvements in India's National Tuberculosis Control Programme. Udwadia was the only Indian invited by the WHO to be part of the TB ‘Guidelines Group’, which formulated the 4th edition of the TB Guidelines, published in 2010. He was also the only doctor to be named among India's best strategists.

The company operated a fleet of Boeing 727 freighters, flying from airports in the Indian subcontinent to feed Lufthansa Cargo's hub in the Middle East.
