Kizhake Palat Sankara Menon was an Indian diplomat. [1] [2]
He was the son of K. P. S. Menon Sr. [3] Menon studied at The Doon School,and St. Stephen's College in Delhi and later at the Oxford University.
He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1951. [1] He served as the Indian ambassador to China,and later as the Foreign Secretary.
Menon died in Thiruvananthapuram at the age of 90 and was cremated. [4]
Government Medical College,Kozhikode,also known as Calicut Medical College (CMC),is a school of medicine in Kozhikode in the Indian state of Kerala. The college was established in 1957 as the second medical college in Kerala by DR.A. R. Menon MBBS,FRCH,Minister for Health,EMS ministry. The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is an Indian regional political party with great influence in the state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. It is a Dravidian party founded by the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu M. G. Ramachandran (M.G.R.) at Madurai on 17 October 1972 as a breakaway faction from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam after M. Karunanidhi expelled him from the party for demanding an account as the party treasurer. The party is adhering to the policy of socialism and secularism based on the principles of C. N. Annadurai (Anna) collectively coined as Annaism by M.G.R. The party has won a seven-time majority in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and has emerged as the most successful political outfit in the state's history. It is currently the main opposition party in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
Kannoth Karunakaran,was an Indian politician who served as the fifth chief minister of Kerala in 1977,from 1981 to March 1982,from May 1982 to 1987 and from 1991 to 1995. Pinarayi Vijayan is an Indian politician who is the current Chief Minister of Kerala,serving since 25 May 2016. A member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of India (Marxist),he is the longest-serving secretary of the Kerala State Committee of the CPI(M) (1998–2015). He also served in the government of Kerala as Minister of Electric Power and Co-operatives from 1996 to 1998.
