K League Players' Player of the Year

The K League Players' Player of the Year is an annual award given to the player who is adjudged to have been the best of the year in South Korea. The award has been presented since 2007 and the winner is chosen by a vote amongst the members of the K League players.

This award was arranged by Korean edition of FourFourTwo, [1] and was not an official award of K League. It was presented in summer unlike the K League MVP Award.

The 2007 K League was the 25th season of the K League. The format of the league was changed from two stages to single league since this season. Each team played 26 matches against every other teams under the home and away system. After the regular league was finished, the top six clubs qualified for the championship playoffs to determine champions.

2008 K League

The 2008 K League was the 26th season of the K League. The regular season and playoffs' format was the same as the one used in the 2007 season. It began on March 8, and the final of the playoffs finished on 7 December.

The 2009 K League was the 27th season of the K League. It was held from 7 March to 6 December 2009, and a total of 15 teams contested, including newly formed Gangwon FC.

Cho Byung-deuk is a South Korean former football player and goalkeeper coach. He is regarded as one of the greatest South Korean goalkeepers of all time. He had a supple and nimble body, and accurate goal kick skill. He was the first goalkeeper who recorded an assist in the K League. He played for South Korea at the 1980 AFC Asian Cup, 1986 Asian Games, 1988 Summer Olympics and 1988 AFC Asian Cup. He conceded 29 goals in 44 caps and won the 1986 Asian Games. He was also selected as a member of South Korea squad for the 1986 FIFA World Cup, but was pushed by his rival Oh Yun-kyo to the bench, and didn't appear throughout the tournament.

2010 K-League

The 2010 K League, officially known as Sonata K-League 2010, was the 28th season of the K League. It was sponsored by Hyundai Motor Company, and was held from 27 February to 5 December 2010.

The K League Best XI is an acknowledgement of the best eleven players in K League.

The K League 'FAN'tastic Player is an annual award given to the player who is judged to have been the best of the year in South Korea. The word 'Fan'tastic means that a fanstasic player is chosen by fans. The award has been presented since the 2009 season and the winner is chosen by an online poll by K League fans.

2013 K League Classic 31st season of top-tier football league in South Korea

The 2013 K League Classic was the 31st season of the top division of South Korean professional football. The South Korean professional football league, K League, was split into two divisions since this year, and the top division was named the "K League Classic". Its fixtures were announced on 30 January, and began on 2 March.

Kim Jae-han is former South Korean football player. He played as a target man by utilizing his height, jumping skills and positional sense. He also had confidence to find the spot where the ball will fall. Kim participated competitions of various sports during his early life. He decided to be a baseball player in Daegu High School, but his baseball team was disbanded while he attended the high school. He changed his career path to be a footballer and spent his youth career in Seonggwang High School and Konkuk University. After the university graduation, Kim joined Korea Housing Bank FC. In 1972, his team won four national top-tier trophies and he was selected for the South Korea national team for the first time. He was picked in the South Korea squad for the 1974 FIFA World Cup qualification. He scored against Thailand and Hong Kong which helped South Korea reached to the final round. The aggregate score of the final against Australia was tied despite his goal, and South Korea lost in the replay match by 1–0. Kim scored 33 goals in the national team with 58 caps. He won four Pestabola Merdekas, two Korea Cups and two King's Cups with his team.

Hwang Ui-jo is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as forward for Bordeaux in the Ligue 1 and the South Korea national football team.

The MBC Drama Awards is an awards ceremony presented by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) for outstanding achievements in Korean dramas aired on its network. It is held annually in December.

KFA Awards is an annual award ceremony hosted by Korea Football Association.
