Critical reception

Kollywood Today appreciated the film calling it a best delivered murder mystery and "It makes one feel watching a thriller with partial traces of Hollywood." [1] Ayngnaran wrote that "Director Rajesh Selva has very well applied his paper works on the screen and that’s so nice for Kollywood to have a new director like him". [2] Nowrunning also praised the film saying "The new director Rajesh Selva deserves praise for maintaining the suspense till very end" [3]
