Kabiru Oluwamuyiwa Alausa (born 28 March 1983) is a Nigerian retired footballer who played as a forward. [1] He is an assistant coach at Nigerian club Shooting Stars. [2]

Career

Alausa began his career playing with Julius Berger and was the top scorer of the Nigerian Premier League in 2004, scoring 13 goals on the season. [3] [4] He then moved to Sunshine Stars, where he played through the 2007 season. [5] Alausa spent time at Heartland, helping the club become runners-up in the 2009 CAF Champions League although he missed several matches while on trial in Europe. [6] [7] After a second stint at Sunshine Stars, he finished his playing career with Shooting Stars. [8]

The 2018 Nigeria Women Premier League began on April 7 in a game featuring defending champions Nasarawa Amazons from Nasarawa State and FC Robo of Lagos State. The date was decided following a congress held in Ikeja on March 3. Prior to the game, a maiden super cup named the NWFL Champions Shield match was played between Aiteo Cup winners, Rivers Angels and Nasarawa Amazons to officially open the new season. At the end of the 2017 season, Sure Babes of Ilorin, Jokodolu Babes of Ogbomosho and Taraba Queens of Taraba State were promoted to compete in the elite division pending registration procedures, while Saadatu Amazons of Minna and Heartland Queens of Owerri were relegated to the pro league. DreamStar FC Ladies is a women's association football club based in Surulere Lagos State, Nigeria, and a member of the Nigerian Women Football League ( NWFL). They have competed in the Nigeria Women Premier League, which is the highest division for women association football in Nigeria, since the 2018–2019 season, having gained promotion to the elite league by winning all their lower division matches.

The 2019–2020 Nigeria Professional Football League was the 49th season of the top-flight division of the Nigerian football league system and the 30th season since its rebranding as the 'Professional League'. The league started on 3 November 2019 but was cancelled in July due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic with no champions and no teams relegated. Enyimba were the defending champions, after winning the Super 6 play-offs the previous season
