Kadhal Samrajyam is an unreleased Tamil-language romantic comedy film which was shot from 2001 onwards. The film, directed by Agathiyan and produced by Panchu Arunachalam's son, Subbu Panchu, starred an array of children of famous actors and technicians. The film was launched and completed in 2002 and is ready for release, but, despite the release of the soundtrack and the trailer, it is yet to see the lights of day. It should have been the debut film of Aravind, Charan, Anjana, Venkat Prabhu and Santhoshi, but due to the delay of the film's release they got introduced into the film industry in different ways and through other films.

The film was directed by Agathiyan and produced by Panchu Arunachalam's son, Subbu Panchu, who made his debut as a lone producer. The film starred an array of children of famous actors and technicians with singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam's son, SPB Charan playing a pivotal role. Aravind Akash, son of popular dancer Susheela Neethi and daughter of TV artist Poornam, Santhoshi, played other lead roles Furthermore, singer Malaysia Vasudevan's son, Yugendran and Gangai Amaren's son Venkat Prabhu as well as Goutham, son of late actor 'Major' Sunderrajan played supporting roles. The film also featured Anjana Sukhani, a newcomer from Mumbai, [1] [2] [3] in the leading female role. The film was launched and completed in 2002 and was ready for release, but, despite the release of the soundtrack and the trailer, it was shelved due to financial problems. It could have been the debut film of Aravind, Charan, Anjana, Venkat Prabhu and Santhoshi, but due to the delay of the film's release they got introduced into the film industry in different ways and through other films.

The film became the third successive film featuring Charan, Venkat Prabhu and Yugendran to become an unreleased venture, with the first being Poonjolai which was directed by Gangai Amaran in 1996. The film which featured Venkat Prabhu in the lead role alongside Sangeetha in her debut started in April 1996 but remained unreleased, despite Ilayaraaja's soundtrack for the film becoming available. [4] [5] Charan and Venkat Prabhu then featured in Premji Amaren's Wanted, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, which also featured their fathers in supporting roles. [6] That film also failed to release and the pair teamed up in two further films, Unnai Saranadainthaen and Vasantham Vandhachu, before becoming popular.

Soundtrack

The soundtrack, which was released on 19 July 2002, features 8 songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with lyrics written by director Agathiyan himself. [7] Vignesh Ram of Nilacharal wrote that "This album has a variety with melodious songs, peppy numbers, folk and theme music to satisfy people of all age group and tastes". [8]

Prem Kumar Gangai Amaren, better known as Premgi, is an Indian playback singer, composer, songwriter, actor and comedian. The son of composer and director Gangai Amaran, he often composes rap songs in Tamil cinema and is known for his comical performances in his elder brother Venkat Prabhu's films. His stage name, Premgi, is actually a spelling error, as it is meant to be "Prem G.",. He is also best known for his catchphrases Enna Koduma Sir Idhu ? and Evvalavo pannitom, itha panna mattoma, the former being a modified version of a famous dialogue used by Prabhu in Chandramukhi (2005).

Aravind Akash is an Indian actor and dancer who works predominantly in the South Indian film industry. He rose to fame through 2002 Malayalam film Nandanam portraying the role of Lord Krishna. He has also been a judge for a few TV shows in Malayalam and Tamil.

Yuvan – Live in Concert is a concert by Indian musician Yuvan Shankar Raja. The concert, Yuvan's second in his career, took place on Pongal, 16 January 2011 at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai. Following the announcement, popular Tamil television STAR Vijay agreed to collaborate, sponsoring, organising and marketing the concert, while airing a special television series about Yuvan Shankar Raja, with family members and prominent celebrities closely associated to him participating, besides producing a promotional music video, titled "I'll be there for you". The five-hour show, which was attended by 20,000 people, including several noted film personalities, was received very positively and considered a highly successful event. The concert was aired on 11 and 12 February, Friday and Saturday at 2000 hrs on Vijay TV.

Subramaniam Panchu Arunachalam, credited as Subbu Panchu or P. Ar. Subramaniam is an Indian actor and film producer. Son of noted writer-producer Panchu Arunachalam, Subbu first appeared as a child artist in the Malayalam film Daisy, before working in the production department of his father's P. A. Art Productions. He returned to acting with the television series Arasi and shot to fame following his performance in the 2010 comedy film Boss Engira Bhaskaran. Subbu has occasionally worked as a voice actor and choreographer as well.

Ajay Raaj is an Indian actor and choreographer who appears in Tamil language films. While working as a dance choreographer, Ajay made his acting debut with Agathiyan's Selvam (2005), before appearing in Chennai 600028 (2007) and has since appeared regularly in films associated with director Venkat Prabhu and his team.

Live Telecast is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language horror thriller television series written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Kajal Aggarwal, Vaibhav Reddy, Anandhi, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Daniel Annie Pope and Priyanka Nair. The series is set in the backdrop of 2005 and the title card also portrays a diary indicating the year 2005. It premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 12 February 2021.
