Kaksi Vihtoria ("Two Henpecked Husbands") is a 1939 Finnish film directed by Nyrki Tapiovaara. It is based on a play by Tatu Pekkarinen. The film was released on 5 February 1939. [1]

Kansan Lehti was a social democratic newspaper published in Tampere from 1898 until 1991. The first issue of the paper appeared in December 1898. In the early period it was a handwritten publication and had a socialist political stance. During this period it came out six times per week and sold nearly 10,000 copies. Nyrki Tapiovaara, born 10 September 1911 in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, died 29 February 1940, was a Finnish film director. He belonged to the Tulenkantajat group which promoted modernist ideas in Finnish culture. Tapiovaara's film career only lasted four years and resulted in five feature films, but had a lasting effect on Finnish cinema. He died in the Winter War.

One Man's Fate is a 1940 Finnish drama film directed by Hugo Hytönen and Nyrki Tapiovaara and starring Gunnar Hiilloskorpi, Mirjami Kuosmanen, and Hytönen. It follows the downward spiral of the farmer Paavo after his wife dies in childbirth, her family reclaims their dowry, and he resorts to drinking. It is based on the 1932 novel of the same title by Frans Eemil Sillanpää, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tapiovaara.

The National Trade Union Confederation of Finland was a Finnish fascist workers' organization affiliated with the Patriotic People's Movement (IKL) which was founded in April 1935. The organization was set up to get the working population to support IKL, and its role models were similar corporatist workers' organizations in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. The organization stood out from the Free Workers' Union, controlled by the National Coalition Party and employers, among other things in that it supported the Minimum Wage Act and opposed only “political” strikes, not all strikes in general. The organization also called for the introduction of a labor dispute settlement procedure and for reforms related to workplace democracy.

Siniristi was a Finnish Nazi magazine published between 1931 and 1939 and published by Publishing Company Oy Vasara that was operated by Gunnar von Hertzen and Y. W. Jalander. Its material consisted mainly of anti-Semitic propaganda adopted from Nazi Germany. The authors of the magazine included the well-known Finnish-Swedish Nazi Thorvald Oljemark.

Vihtori ja Klaara is a 1939 Finnish comedy film. It was the only comedy film directed by Teuvo Tulio and his second oldest film to survive in its entirety. The film tells the story about Vihtori's henpecked life with his temperamental wife Klaara. This farcical marriage story is punctuated with numerous misunderstandings.
