Nischal Basnet is a Nepalese film director and actor who primarily appears in Nepali language films. He made his directorial debut in 2012 with the crime-thriller Loot and wrote screenplay for the film. The film focuses on Hakku Kale, who masterminds a bank robbery. The film received mixed reviews from the critics, some of whom criticized the script for not being original. According to The Kathmandu Post, the film "changed the discourse of the Nepali film industry". Loot earned 25.5 million Nepalese rupees, making it Nepal's highest-grossing film of 2012. Basnet went on to win the Dcine Award for Best Debut Director. In 2014, Basnet acted in and produced Ram Babu Gurung's romantic drama Kabaddi. In the film, Basnet plays Bibek, who tries to abduct a gangster's daughter. The same year, Basnet directed the dark comedy Talakjung vs Tulke. The film is set during the Nepalese Civil War, which lasted from 1996 to 2006. Basnet won the Film Critics Society of Nepal Award for Best Director and the National Film Award for Best Director. Talakjung vs Tulke was selected as the Nepalese entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.

Pradip Bhattarai is a Nepalese screenwriter and film director. He made his directorial debut in 2016 with the film Jatra. It was a heist-comedy film which was produced by Singe Lama and Yadav Poudel under the banner of Shatkon Arts. The film was commercially successful. Since then he directed two other films, Shatru Gate in 2018, and Jatrai Jatra in 2019, both of which were commercially successful. Bhattarai is also one of the judges of the first Nepali comedy-reality TV show Comedy Champion. He has been associated with renowned Nepali comic actors Maha Jodi since the early 2000s.
Chhetan Gurung was a Nepalese film director and writer known for his work in Nepali cinema. He has written scripts for Nepali films including November Rain (2014), Classic (2016), A Mero Hajur 3 (2019), and Prem Geet 3. Gurung debuted as a director from Damaru Ko Dandibiyo (2018), his last film, Prem Geet 3 which he directed in 2019 that will be released posthumously. He died from liver problems on 9 September 2020.
Dayahang Rai is a Nepali actor who made his debut in the 2009 romantic comedy film Mero Euta Saathi Chha. The same year, Rai appeared in the mystery Dasdhunga, in which he portrays the suspected killer of Madan Bhandari, leader of the Communist Party of Nepal; this performance garnered the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. In 2012, his breakthrough role came in Loot, in which he starred as Gofle, who with his four friends sets out to rob a bank in Kathmandu. Rai's performance was praised and the film was a commercial success. He then starred in Deepak Rauniyar's drama Highway (2012). In 2013, he appeared in Badhshala, a film about the Nepalese Civil War and the human rights abuses committed by the Nepali Army. This film was later banned in Nepal by the military and criticised for empathising with Maoists.
Pramod Agrahari is a Nepali actor. He made his film debut from movie Uma. He is known for his films namely White Sun, Gangster Blues, Katha Kathmandu etc. He is the highest paid actor in the Nepalese film industry.

Shailesh began his career as a jingle composer, primarily focusing on non-film materials such as albums. He made his debut as a film composer with "Aawaran," and his work gained recognition, particularly for his contributions to "Nepalese Dreams" and "Gajalu," leading to him receiving multiple awards, including the Kamana Film Awards., Dcine Awards and the National Box Office Film Award in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
