Kanatbek Kubatovich Begaliev (born 14 February 1984 in Talas, Kyrgyz SSR) is a Kyrgyz wrestler who won the silver medal in the Men's Greco-Roman 66 kg at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. [1] After Athens 2004 where he was at 11th place he received invitation to Kazakh national team, which he accepted and also became Kazakhstan citizen. And he trained in Kazakhstan within Kazakh National team until it turned out that to Olympic qualification he was not eligible to represent Kazakhstan yet, and Kanat returned to Kyrgyzstan and qualified to Beijing 2008, where he won Silver medal. Consequently, he said: “Sure, I am always thankful to Kazakhstan, all Kazakh coaches and athletes who believed in me and shared with me their knowledge and skills. I trained there and played with them football. Thus part of this medal belongs to Kazakhstan” [2]

Nikolay Borislavov Gergov is an amateur Bulgarian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's welterweight category. He defeated South Korea's Kim Min-Chul for a gold medal in the 66 kg division at the 2005 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in addition to his bronze from the 2007 World Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. Janarbek Kenjeev is an amateur Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's light heavyweight category. Considered one of Asia's top wrestlers in his decade, Kenjeev has collected a total of five medals at the Asian Championships, picked up two bronze in the 84-kg division at the Asian Games, and also represented his nation Kyrgyzstan, as a 19-year-old teen, at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Throughout his sporting career, Kenjeev trains for Sduschor 1 Wrestling Club in Bishkek, under his personal coach Hakim Makhmudov.

Parviz Zeidvand is a retired amateur Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's welterweight category. He won two gold medals at the Asian Championships, picked up a bronze in the 74-kg division at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, and represented Iran in two editions of the Olympic Games. Throughout his sporting career, Zeidvand trained full-time for Rahahan Wrestling Club under his coach and mentor Gholamreza Ghetassi.

Moisés Sánchez Parra is a retired amateur Spanish Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's welterweight category. He represented his nation Spain at the 2004 Summer Olympics and later capped his sporting career in 2005 with a silver and bronze at the Mediterranean Games and European Championships. Before his retirement from wrestling in 2010, Sanchez trained full-time for Budokan Wrestling Club in Palma de Mallorca under his coach Eusebio Capel.

Nurlan Altynbekovich Koizhaiganov is a retired amateur Kazakh Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's lightweight category. He scored top five finishes in the 60-kg division in two consecutive editions of the Asian Games, and later represented his nation Kazakhstan at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Before being retired from wrestling in 2005, Koizhaiganov also trained throughout his sporting career at Professional Sport Club Daulet in Semipalatinsk, under his personal coach Kanat Nurlasiev.

Satyawart Kadian is an Indian wrestler. He first represented India at the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics where he won a bronze medal in the boys' freestyle 100 kg category. He then represented India in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and won a silver medal in the 97 kg weight class.
