Huzur Maharaj Kanwar Saheb Ji

Param Sant Huzur Kanwar Saheb Ji Maharaj, also known as Maharaj Ji to his followers, is the spiritual head of Radha Swami Satsang, Dinod. He succeeded Param Sant Huzur Tarachand Ji Maharaj, fondly called 'Bade Maharaj Ji' and has been delivering spiritual discourses continuously since 1997. Kanwar Saheb ji handles all his works as his own. Maharaj ji has given new dimensions to Radha Swami Satsang Dinod. As a result, there is a continuous increase in the Sangat and Ashrams in the country and abroad. Huzur Maharaj Ji's life of austerity and sacrifice is unparalleled.

Early life

Supreme Saint Huzur Kanwar Ji Maharaj was born on 2 March 1948 in village Dinod, district Bhiwani, to Choudhary Surjaram Ji, from the womb of the fortunate mother Smt. Muthri Devi. Huzur was only four years old when he lost his father. Supreme Saint Tarachand Ji Maharaj showed deep sympathy towards Huzur and went to his house to console him. Seeing the little Kanwar, a feeling arose in his mind spontaneously that if I were his elder brother, I would never have let him suffer. As a result of this immense love of elder Huzur Maharaj Ji, Huzur was later attracted towards him like iron is automatically drawn towards a magnet.

Now the fatherless child was brought up by his mother. Since Huzur had to wipe the tears of the poor in the future, the creator started training him to deal with hardships from childhood itself, as a result of which Huzur closely understood the reality of worldly relationships.

Huzur was now in the eighth grade when he married Mrs. Savitri Devi. Huzur's mother was a religious woman and had received the blessing of a name from Bade Huzur. She often attended Bade Huzur Maharaj Ji's satsang. Furthermore, Huzur's uncle, Harlal, also attended Bade Maharaj Ji's satsang daily. Both of them believed that if the young Kanwar started attending satsang, he would surely become a saint. Therefore, they both constantly nudged Huzur to go to the ashram. Huzur hadn't prepared properly for the eighth grade, so he couldn't write his exam answers satisfactorily. However, when asked by his mother, Bade Maharaj Ji had already predicted that he would pass the exam. Huzur sent his mother again to ask him if he would still pass even if he hadn't written properly. Bade Huzur's answer was again, "Yes." Huzur was very surprised by the unexpected result of his passing in this examination and he felt that he was able to pass this examination only due to the blessings of Bade Maharaj Ji.

Huzur completed his BA from Vaish College in 1970 and his B.Ed. from K.M. College, Bhiwani, the following year, in 1971. In 1973, Huzur completed his MA from Jaipur University and was appointed a government teacher. Until this time, Huzur had not the slightest inclination towards spirituality.

By now, Bade Maharaj Ji's court had assumed the form of a spiritual center, and this center was playing a significant role in guiding countless seekers of spirituality. Now, he felt a strong desire to know Bade Huzur closely, and one day, he visited the ashram. At that time, Bade Huzur's satsang was going on. He found an unprecedented attraction in his personality and discourses. Thereafter, he started coming to the ashram daily to listen to the satsang. And one day, when he came before his Sadguru, he became his and never returned home. He also made a Bhishma vow that only his funeral procession would leave this ashram. At that time, he was only 30 years old. A devotee in childhood collects diamonds and pearls, a devotee in youth collects gold and silver, a devotee in old age gets only copper and brass. Accordingly, as a result of the influence of the sanskars of the previous birth, it did not take long for Huzur to decide his spiritual path and he practiced a lot in the company of his Satguru. Now his entire night was spent in bhajan. Along with this, the service he rendered to his Satguru with his body, mind and wealth is an example in itself. After his arrival, Bade Huzur became relaxed about the arrangements of the Dham. It was he who started the collective Aarti Vinati at Brahma Murti, which became an indelible rule after that. Pleased with his virtues and service, Bade Huzur used to call him his 'diamond'.

In whichever school he taught, he would come straight to his Satguru Dham after school was over and would go for duty from there in the morning. He performed the duty of a true teacher very well and ensured all-round development of his students. He also fulfilled his family responsibilities very well while staying at Gurudham. As a result, in the year 1994, his entire family settled in Canada. Then he completely devoted himself to the service of your Satguru. He also wrote books named 'Radha Swami Naam Nijanaam Va Sada Ki Mukti', 'Jui Se Jahan', 'Pravachna Sangrah' and 'Satguru Prem'. The incomparable words written in the separation of Satguru in the book 'Satguru Prem' prove that he had unique and immense love for his Satguru.

These are the nectar words of Param Sant Huzur Tarachand Ji Maharaj that a perfect saint never comes alone, he always brings his Gurumukh disciple with him. Just as Kabir Sahib appeared with Dharamdas, Dadu Ji with Sundar Das and Swami Ji with Rai Saligram Ji, similarly Param Sant Huzur Tarachand Ji appeared with his Param Gurumukh Kanwar Ji.

On 3rd January 1997, Param Sant Tarachand Ji Maharaj left for his heavenly abode after handing over the complete responsibility of Radha Swami Satsang Dinnod to the strong hands of his Param Gurumukh and established his complete stream in Huzur. Having blossomed and become fruitful in the pure love of Satguru, today he are handling all his works as his own. [1]
