Karakar Tunnel is an under-construction 2 km long tunnel connecting Buner to Swat District. The tunnel will shortcut the 11 km long distance of Karakar Pass to 3 km. [1] [2] [3]

North America's first transcontinental railroad was a 1,911-mile (3,075 km) continuous railroad line constructed between 1863 and 1869 that connected the existing eastern U.S. rail network at Council Bluffs, Iowa with the Pacific coast at the Oakland Long Wharf on San Francisco Bay. The rail line was built by three private companies over public lands provided by extensive US land grants. Construction was financed by both state and US government subsidy bonds as well as by company issued mortgage bonds. The Western Pacific Railroad Company built 132 mi (212 km) of track from the road's western terminus at Alameda/Oakland to Sacramento, California. Jammu–Baramulla line railway line in northern India

The Jammu–Baramulla line is a railway track being laid to connect the Kashmir Valley in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir with Jammu railway station and thence to the rest of the country. The Eastern Freeway, is a controlled-access highway, in Mumbai, that connects P D'Mello Road in South Mumbai to the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) at Chembur. It is 16.8 km (10.4 mi) long and its estimated cost is 1,436 crore (US$190 million). The Eastern Freeway was built by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and funded by the Central Government through the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM). Construction was contracted to Simplex Infrastructure Ltd. A 13.59 km stretch of the freeway, comprising two of three segments with one of the twin tunnels, from Orange Gate on P D'Mello Road up to Panjarpol, near RK Studios in Chembur, was opened to the public on 14 June 2013. The second tunnel was opened on 12 April 2014. The third and final segment from Panjarpol to Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road (GMLR) was opened on 16 June 2014.

Jelas Expressway Road in Malaysia

NPVE Jelas Expressway is an expressway being planned in Malaysia. "Jelas" stands for "Jelapang–Selama–Batu Kawan Expressway". This RM4.6 billion project will begin its construction in 2016 and is targeted for completion in 2018. It is being built to relieve congestion on North–South Expressway Northern Route, especially during weekends and festivals seasons.

Stad Ship Tunnel

The Stad Ship Tunnel is a planned canal and tunnel to bypass the Stad peninsula in Stad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The peninsula is one of the most exposed areas on the coast, without any outlying islands to protect it from the weather. The section has traditionally been one of the most dangerous along the coast of Norway. When built it will be the first full-size ship tunnel in the world.

A4 motorway (Serbia)

The A4 motorway is a motorway in Serbia and it spans for 107 kilometers (66 mi).

The Line 4 or Noapara - Barasat Line of the Kolkata Metro in India is a 16.876 km (10.486 mi) long metro route from Noapara to Barasat in North 24 Parganas, which is under construction. It is being built by RVNL. It will run mostly at elevated viaducts but will descend underground after Jessore Road Station and will again ascend above after New Barrackpore Station. It will have an interchange station at the NSCBI Airport with Kolkata Metro Line 6.

The Char Dham Railway, the Indian Railways's under construction twin railway lines, will complement the Char Dham Highway project by connecting the holiest places of Hinduism called Chota Char Dham, from the existing Doiwala railway station near Dehradun to Gangotri and Yamunotri via a fork at Uttarkashi and another set of twin rail links from the upcoming railway station at Karnaprayag to Kedarnath and Badrinath via a fork at Saikot. The line is also of strategic military importance and has been designated a national project.

The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway is a 1,350 km long, 8-lane wide under-construction access-controlled expressway connecting India's national capital New Delhi with its financial capital Mumbai. The under-construction Vadodara–Mumbai Expressway has been subsumed in this project. Foundation stone of the project was laid by union minister Nitin Gadkari in presence of Sushma Swaraj & Arun Jaitley on 8 March 2019. The total project value including the land acquisition cost is around ₹1,00,000 crores. An additional 30 km long spur will also be constructed by the NHAI from Noida International Airport in Jewar to Ballabgarh on this expressway. Upon completion in March 2023, it will become India's longest and busiest expressway.

The Mumbai–Nagpur Expressway or Nagpur–Mumbai Super Communication Expressway is an under-construction 6-lane 701 km long access-controlled expressway in Maharashtra, India. It will be amongst the country's longest Greenfield road project, connecting the two capitals of the state i.e., Mumbai and Nagpur. The project is led by the state infrastructure arm Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) and is designed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.

Sela Tunnel is an under-construction road tunnel at 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) which will ensure all-weather connectivity between Guwahati in Assam and Tawang in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The tunnel is being excavated below the 4,200 metres (13,800 ft) Sela Pass in India on NH 13 component of Trans-Arunachal Highway system. It will be connected with NH 13 by a new 12.4 km road and will reduce the distance between Dirang and Tawang by 10 km. It has a 3-year target target completion date of February 2022 after the construction commenced in 2019. The tunnel will provide access to Tawang by an all-weather road in the western region of Arunachal Pradesh throughout the year.

North–South Line (Jakarta MRT) Rapid transit line of Jakarta MRT

The North–South line is a rapid transit line of the Jakarta MRT. Coloured red on the map, the line is currently 15.7 km long and serves 13 stations. It is the first line of the Jakarta MRT.
