Karla Barrera (born 22 February 1984) is a Puerto Rican windsurfer. She competed in the women's Mistral One Design event at the 2004 Summer Olympics. [1]
The Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera is an indoor arena located in Mexico City, Mexico. At the 1968 Summer Olympics, it hosted the volleyball competitions, and it is located next to the Olympic pool. It was the home of La Ola Roja del Distrito Federal of the LNBP from 2000 to 2007 and the professional basketball team Capitanes de Ciudad de México from 2017 to 2020. The arena seats 5,242 people in two stand levels. For years, it has been the traditional home of professional basketball in Mexico City.

Karla Borger is a German beach volleyball player. She won a silver medal at the 2013 World Championships alongside her teammate Britta Büthe. In 2014 they won the German Championship. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she competed in women's beach volleyball with teammate Britta Büthe. They were defeated by the Brazilian team of Larissa França and Talita Antunes in the round of 16. After Büthe quit professional beach volleyball in 2016, Borger teamed up with Margareta Kozuch until 2018. When Kozuch decided to play with Laura Ludwig, she formed a new team with Julia Sude and won the German Championship in 2019. The team qualified for participation in the Beach volleyball at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

She graduated with a BA (Hons)at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and worked as a broadcaster in London, U.K. She represented Brazil at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and had been training with the Rio de Janeiro Yacht Club for most of her career before joining the Portuguese squad in 2012. As of September 2013, Mendelblatt is ranked no. 91 in the world for the sailboard class by the International Sailing Federation.
