Kashiram Vechan Pawara is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Shirpur Assembly constituency. He joined Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election. [1] [2] Pawara was also Member of Legislative Assembly from Shirpur in 2009. He belonged to the INC then too. He is from Sule Kangai village in Dhule District,Maharashtra. Once he visited Kangai village,he started the speech about his development program. He said "I wasted my five years for understanding what is politics,now this time give me vote for your valuable development".

The 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 20 November 2024 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly to elect 288 members of the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. The ruling Maha Yuti won a landslide victory winning 235 seats and none of the parties in the Maha Vikas Aghadi had sufficient seats to get the position of leader of opposition,the first time in six decades.
The 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election was held in three phases from 13 to 20 November 2024 to elect all 81 members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The counting of votes was done on 24 November 2024. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 34 seats,securing 23.44% of the popular vote and Mahagathbandhan won 56 seats,securing 44.37% of the popular vote. The Bharatiya Janata Party secured the highest share of the popular vote with 33.18% of the total votes.
