Katie Jane Hillier (born 2 May 1974) is a British fashion designer, mostly bags and accessories.

Career

Hillier has created bags, jewellery and other accessories for labels including Marc Jacobs, Loewe, Asprey, and Victoria Beckham. [2]

In 2010, she launched her own jewellery label, Hillier. [2]

In May 2013, she became creative director of Marc by Marc Jacobs, but the label closed in March 2015. [4] [5]

In 2015, she launched Hillier Bartley with fellow designer and friend Luella Bartley. [5] Both designers had been creative directors for Marc by Marc Jacobs [6] before they launched their own line, which retails at Liberty, Matches, and Selfridges in the UK, among other locations in the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Japan.

In 2019, Hillier was named creative director of J&M Davidson, and designed her first collection of ready-to-wear and accessories for the brand in autumn of that year. [7]

Personal life

Hillier was in a relationship with fellow designer Patrick Grant from 2007 to 2015. [8] [9]

She has been in a relationship with American artist Jeff West since 2016, and they held a commitment ceremony in Kenya on 20 April 2019. [10] They live in Hudson, New York. [11]

At its peak, there were over 200 retail stores in 80 countries. He was the creative director of the French design house Louis Vuitton from 1997 to 2014. Jacobs was on Time magazine's "2010 Time 100" list of the 100 most influential people in the world, and was #14 on Out magazine's 2012 list of "50 Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America". He was married on April 6, 2019, to his long time partner, Charly Defrancesco.

Stuart Vevers is a British fashion designer. He graduated from the University of Westminster in 1996. He joined Mulberry as creative director in 2005 and was instrumental in the company's success, transforming their leather goods into the must-have bags. Giles Deacon is an English fashion designer, Creative Director and Founder of Giles Deacon group, a fashion enterprise. Deacon joined the Paris Fashion Week in 2016. Deacon has been known to challenge the traditional ideas of womenswear and often uses wild prints and pop culture references in his designs. Deacon was employed by the fashion houses Bottega Veneta and Gucci, before founding his own label, GILES, in 2003. He launched his first collection for GILES at the 2004 London Fashion Week and was named "Best New Designer" at the British Fashion Awards.

Lucinda Chambers is a British fashion director, designer and stylist. She worked at Vogue for 36 years altogether, working her way up to the post of fashion director. She was also fashion director for British Elle, working there for seven years. Alongside her two business partners, she created the luxury brand Colville, which launched in 2018.
