The UCI Track Cycling World Championships are the set of world championship events for the various disciplines and distances in track cycling. They are regulated by the Union Cycliste Internationale. Before 1900, they were administered by the UCI's predecessor, the International Cycling Association (ICA).

She won the women's scratch race at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 2012 and 2013, and competed for her country in the road race at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing eleventh.

Representing Wales, Barker was also the points race champion at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

She has won seven gold medals in the World Championships and five Olympic medals, making her the most decorated U.S. female cyclist in Olympic history.

Palina Pivavarava is a track cyclist from Belarus, who most recently rode for UCI Women's Team Minsk Cycling Club. In 2015, she won the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland. She also rode at the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.
