Kattamanchi is suburb of Chittoor [1] in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India. [2] It is on the banks of the Neeva River. It connects the national highway from Chittoor to Tirupathi, Kadapa and Kurnool. In Kattamanchi the language spoken is Telugu. It is a pilgrimage center. [3]

Geography of Andhra Pradesh

The newly formed district has 64.53% literacy rate, which is lower than state literacy which stands at 67.35%.
