Kapteel Bridge (Zomi: Kapteel Guun Lei) is a bridge in Tedim Township, Chin State, Myanmar and opened on April 25, 2002. Kapteel Bridge is a suspension bridge across Manipur River in Chin State (Zogam).
The bridge is 480 feet (150 m) long and 10 feet 9 inches (3.28 m) wide. The bridge is on Tedim - Kapteel - Rih Lake motor road. Its clearance is 350 feet (110 m) wide and 20 feet (6.1 m) high, and it can bear three tons of load. The bridge was built by Deputy Superintending Engineer U San Win.
The bridge opening ceremony was held at the central pandal of the bridge on April 25, 2002. The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of Sagaing Division Peace and Development Council Commander of North-West Command Brig-Gen Soe Naing, Minister for Construction Maj-Gen Saw Tun, Brig-Gen Khin Maung Aye of Kalay Station, Deputy Minister for Construction Brig-Gen Myint Thein, officials of the ministry, state/district/township level departmental officials, members of the Union Solidarity and Development Association, Maternal and Child Welfare Association, Red Cross Society and Social Organization, and local people, totalling 2,200.
Chin State is a state in western Myanmar. The 36,019-square-kilometre (13,907 sq mi) Chin State is bordered by Sagaing Division and Magway Division to the east, Rakhine State to the south, Bangladesh to the south-west, and the Indian states of Mizoram to the west and Manipur to the north. The population of Chin state is about 478,801 in 2014 census. The capital of the state is Hakha. The state is a mountainous region with few transportation links. Chin State is sparsely populated and remains one of the least developed areas of the country. Chin State has the highest poverty rate of 73% as per the released figures from the first official survey. The official radio broadcasting dialect of Chin is Falam. There are 53 different subtribes and languages in Chin State. There are nine townships in Chin State: Hakha, Thantlang, Falam, Tedim, Tonzang, Matupi, Mindat, Kanpetlet and Paletwa townships. In 1896, Mindat and Kanpetlet were placed under Pakokku Hill Tracts District of British Burma later emerged into Chin hills. Only Paletwa township became a part of Arakan Hill Tracts District of British Burma.

Vangte or Vangteh is a large village in southern Tedim Township, Falam District, Chin State, in Myanmar. Vangteh is also the name of the village tract where Vangte lies.
Guite is the progenitor clan of Zomi people He is also said to be the Older Brother of Thadou progenitor of the Thadou people. Mostly the Guite clan speak Paite language. Most of them are known as Zomi and few also as Paite/Zomi in India and as Zogam in Myanmar (Burma). Depending on local pronunciation, the clan was also called differently such as Nguite, Vuite, and was also recorded even as Gwete, Gwite, Nwite. In accord with the claim of their solar origin, the Guite clan has been called nampi, meaning noble or major or even dominant people, of the region in local dialect in the past.

It is one of the world's ultra-prominent peaks, as it rises 4,951 feet above all other peaks nearby. It is the second highest mountain in Chin State, next to Mount Victoria.
Myint Maung Maung is an obstetrician and gynecologist who became head of the North Okkalapa General Hospital in Burma. In May 2011 he received a Sayawun Tin Shwe Award.
Lairawn Baptist Association(LBA) is the organization of 65 Baptist churches throughout Kalay Valley, Sagaing Division, Myanmar. The majority of the Burmese population is made of profess Theravada Buddhism and only 6% practices Christianity, with two-thirds of them being considered Protestant. Almost half of these Protestants are Baptist. The LBA mainly serves the Chin people who speak Falam dialect. It is one of the twenty eight associations of Chin Baptist Convention which is under the umbrella of Myanmar Baptist Convention (MBC). As of 2015, the association has 78 pastors and 21305 members. The association is divided into 12 areas and each area has their own by-law and constitution, but they work together with each other in unity in the context of LBA, encouraging and resourcing each other. The motto is Pitlin Lam Pan.
Chin Baptist Convention, Myanmar was established in 1953 and located in Falam, Chin State, Myanmar. Today, the Chin Baptist Convention is the largest organization in Chin State consisting of 28 Associations and is also the second largest member body of the Myanmar Baptist Convention after the Karen Baptist Convention.
