Albert Finney was an English actor. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and worked in the theatre before attaining fame for movie acting during the early 1960s, debuting with The Entertainer (1960), directed by Tony Richardson, who had previously directed him in theatre. He maintained a successful career in theatre, movies and television.

Sonja Bennett is a Canadian actress and screenwriter. Her film debut was in the Canadian feature film Punch (2002), for which she won the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress in a Canadian Film. She has since starred in the films Donovan's Echo, Cole, Control Alt Delete, Young People Fucking, and Fido as well as the television series Godiva's and Cold Squad. In 2014, Bennett made her screenwriting debut with Preggoland in which she also starred.
Sarah Lynn Gadon is a Canadian actress. She began her acting career guest-starring in a number of television series, such as Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1999), Mutant X (2002), and Dark Oracle (2004). She also worked as a voice actress on various television productions. Gadon gained recognition for her roles in David Cronenberg's films A Dangerous Method (2011), Cosmopolis (2012), and Maps to the Stars (2014). She also starred in Denis Villeneuve's thriller Enemy (2013), the period drama Belle (2013), and the action horror film Dracula Untold (2014).
Picnicface was a Canadian sketch comedy troupe based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, consisting of Mark Little, Andrew Bush, Kyle Dooley, Cheryl Hann, Brian MacQuarrie, Evany Rosen, Scott Vrooman and Bill Wood. Formed in 2006, the group were most noted for a 13-episode sketch comedy television series which aired on The Comedy Network in 2011.
She Stoops to Conquer is a 2015 Canadian short film directed by Zack Russell. It stars Kayla Lorette and Julian Richings, and had its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
Anne Frances Murphy is a Canadian actress. She is known for her starring role as Alexis Rose in the sitcom Schitt's Creek (2015–2020), for which she garnered acclaim and won a Primetime Emmy Award and a nomination for a Golden Globe Award. She has since starred in the dark comedy series Kevin Can F**k Himself (2021–2022), the second season of the comedy-drama series Russian Doll (2022), and the episode "Joan Is Awful" of the anthology series Black Mirror (2023), and also voiced Chelsea the mermaid in the DreamWorks Animation film Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken (2023).

When the Storm Fades is a Canadian docufiction film, directed by Seán Devlin and released in 2018. New Eden is a Canadian television mockumentary series, created by and starring Evany Rosen and Kayla Lorette. The series centres on Grace Lee (Rosen) and Katherine Wryfield (Lorette), the leaders of an all-female cult compound, through the narrative frame of a fictional true crime documentary series profiling the cult's descent into chaos and murder. The first season was directed by Aleysa Young.
The 8thannualCanadian Screen Awards were originally scheduled to be held on March 29, 2020, to honour achievements in Canadian film, television, and digital media production in 2019. Space Riders: Division Earth is a Canadian science fiction comedy web series, which premiered in 2014 on CTV Television Network's web platform CTV Extend. The series stars Mark Little and Dan Beirne as Ken and Phillip, two slackers who unexpectedly become superheroes after the Earth is invaded by alien supervillain Orson Ooze. The series was generally labelled by critics as a parody of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Aaron Read is a Canadian actor and stand-up comedian from Burnaby, British Columbia. He is most noted for his performance in the 2018 film When the Storm Fades, for which he won the Vancouver Film Critics Circle award for Best Supporting Actor in a Canadian Film at the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards 2018.
