KeAndre Lambert-Smith, (born July 29, 2002), also known by his initials KLS, is an American college football wide receiver for the Auburn Tigers. He previously played for the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Early life

Lambert-Smith grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and attended Matthew Fontaine Maury High School. [1] [2] As a senior, he gained over 1,500 yards from scrimmage and scored 26 touchdowns as Maury won the Group 5A state championship. [3] Lambert-Smith was rated a four-star recruit and committed to play college football at Penn State over offers from North Carolina, Ohio State, Clemson, and Georgia. [4]

College career

Penn State

Lambert-Smith caught 15 passes for 138 yards during his true freshman season, which did not count against his eligibility because of coronavirus pandemic. [5] He had 34 receptions for 521 yards and five touchdowns during his redshirt freshman season. [6] [7] Lambert-Smith caught three passes for 124 yards and one touchdown in the 2023 Rose Bowl as a redshirt sophomore, including a Rose Bowl record 88-yard reception. [8] [9] He finished the season with 24 receptions for 389 yards and four touchdowns and also completed two pass attempts for 73 yards and one touchdown. [10] On April 15, 2024, Lambert-Smith announced that he would enter the transfer portal. [11]

Auburn

On April 24, 2024, Lambert-Smith announced that he would transfer to Auburn. [12]

Personal life

Lambert-Smith's uncle, Kam Chancellor, played college football at Virginia Tech and in the NFL for eight seasons. [13]

Daryll Lawrence Clark is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback. He was signed by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a free agent in 2010. He played collegiately for the Penn State Nittany Lions. From 2005 until 2009, Clark was the Nittany Lions' all-time passing touchdowns leader, as well as numerous other passing records. Clark was recruited to Penn State out of Ursuline High School in Youngstown by way of The Kiski School in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. Clark has also been a member of the Omaha Nighthawks, Chicago Rush and Myrtle Beach Freedom.

The 2009 Penn State Nittany Lions football team represented the Pennsylvania State University in the 2009 college football season. The team was coached by Joe Paterno and played its home games in Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania. Penn State had the highest graduation rate among all of the teams on the Associated Press Top 25 poll with 89% of its 2002 enrollees graduating. Miami and Alabama tied for second place with a graduation rate of 75%. The Nittany Lions finished the season with an 11–2 record and won the Lambert-Meadowlands Trophy award to the best team in the ECAC for the 28th time and the second consecutive year.
