Rabindra Prasad Adhikari was a Nepali politician and three-time parliamentarian,belonging to the Nepal Communist Party (NCP). In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election,Adhikari was elected from the Kaski-3 constituency,with 13,386 votes. In 2017,CPN-UML candidate Rabindra Adhikari won parliamentary elections from Kaski Constituency No. 2. Representing the left alliance,Adhikari secured 27,207 votes to defeat Nepali Congress candidate Dev Raj Chalise,who got 18,661 votes. After his demise,his wife Bidya Bhattarai won Kaski Constituency-2 with a wide margin of 8,403 votes in the by-election. Bhattarai secured 24,394 votes,while her nearest contender Khem Raj Poudel from main opposition Nepali Congress got 15,991. Likewise,Socialist Party's Dharma Raj Gurung got 1,922 votes. He authored the books Constituent Assembly,Democracy and Re-structuring.
Bidya Devi Bhandari is a former Nepali politician who served as the second president of Nepal from 2015 to 2023. She formerly served as the minister of defence and minister of environment and population.
General elections were held in Nepal in two phases on 26 November and 7 December 2017 to elect the 275 members of the fifth House of Representatives,the lower house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal. The election was held alongside the first provincial elections for the seven provincial assemblies. A political deadlock between the governing Nepali Congress and the winning left-wing coalition over the system used to elect the upper house led to delay in forming the new government. Following the announcement of final result by the Election Commission,K.P. Oli of Communist Party of Nepal was sworn in as Prime Minister on 15 February 2018 by the President according to Article 76 (2) of the constitution. He passed a Motion of Confidence on 11 March 2018 with 208 votes.

He was elected from Syangja-1 constituency defeating Raju Thapa of Nepali Congress by more than 10,000 votes. A long time member of CPN UML,he represents the newly formed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) following the merger of the party with CPN. He was also the candidate for CPN UML in Syangja-1 constituency in the second constituent assembly election,in 2013.

He was a member of the Nepali Congress Central Committee,accepting the appointment from Sushil Koirala on September 17,2014.
The First Federal Parliament of Nepal,consisting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly,was elected via the 2017 legislative,provincial and local elections.
General elections were held in Nepal on 20 November 2022 to elect the 275 members of the House of Representatives. There were two ballots in the election;one to elect 165 members from single-member constituencies via FPTP,and the other to elect the remaining 110 members from a single nation-wide constituency via party-list proportional representation.
Shankar Bhandari is a Nepalese politician,belonging to the Nepali Congress currently serving as the member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2022 Nepalese general election,he won the election from Tanahun 2 (constituency).
