Kelvin de Ruiter is a competitive strongman from the Netherlands [1] and is the reigning four-time Strongest Man of the Netherlands. [2] Having competed in 36 International strongman competitions and winning 8 of them, de Ruiter is among the 50 most decorated strongmen of all time. [3]

A carpenter by profession, he first noticed his talent for lifting heavy objects while working part time in a local breaker's yard. After training initially with his father, de Ruiter was mentored by former World’s Strongest Man bronze medalist Wout Zijlstra. [2]

Having competed prolifically in the Strongman Champions League [4] and known for his prowess in vehicle pulling, de Ruiter is a three-time World Truck Pull Champion. [2] He is the current active number 1 vehicle puller in the world, and the third greatest vehicle puller of all time behind Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and Žydrūnas Savickas. [5]

Brian Shaw is an American retired professional strongman who is widely regarded as one of the greatest strength athletes of all-time. He won the 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016 World's Strongest Man, making him one of only five men to win the World’s Strongest Man four times or more. In 2011, Shaw became the first man to win the Arnold Strongman Classic and the World's Strongest Man competitions in the same calendar year, a feat he replicated in 2015. With 27 international competition wins, he is the fourth most decorated strongman in history behind Lithuania's Žydrūnas Savickas, Poland's Mariusz Pudzianowski and Iceland's Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson.
