Suamico is a village in Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 12,820 at the time of the 2020 census. Suamico is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area, and contains the neighborhood community of Flintville.

Madison East High School is one of four comprehensive four-year high schools in Madison, Wisconsin. It was established in 1922, making it the oldest public high school still operating in Madison. The school mascot is "Peppy Purgolder", an animal resembling a feline. Madison East athletes compete in the WIAA Big Eight Conference. Its girls' swim team won the WIAA Division 1 state championship in 2007.

Travis Edward Dorsch is an American former football punter who played in the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons. He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers, where he won the Ray Guy Award and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. He also played for the Green Bay Packers and the Rhein Fire of the NFL Europe.
John "Weenie" Wilson was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach and teacher at the Dodgeville High School in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He was a nationally ranked punter while at the University of Wisconsin and played for the Green Bay Packers before enlisting in the United States Navy prior to World War II. He is the only coach to be inducted into all three Wisconsin high school sports halls of fame, for football, basketball, and baseball.

Masthay was nicknamed "Ginger Wolverine" by his Packers teammates for his long red sideburns.
