Ken Horstmann (born April 10, 1971) is an American film and television director. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia.
Ken graduated from Mount Paran Christian School in (1990). He began his career at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, Georgia as a tape operator. Eventually, this led him to directing commercials and television series. He has directed numerous music videos, namely for Family Force 5. The video for "Never Let Me Go" was nominated for a 2008 GMA Dove Award. [1]
His television series credits for Cartoon Network include Fridays, Fried Dynamite, and "The Break" (premiering in 2009). He also directs "Vital Signs" for CNN International, hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
His first feature entitled Upside starring Randall Bentley of NBC's "Heroes" and based on his script, released October 5, 2010.
A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. Formerly held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dove Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia during 2011 and 2012, but has since moved back to Nashville. My Love from the Star is a 2017 Philippine television drama comedy romantic fantasy series broadcast by GMA Network. The series is based on a 2013 South Korean television series of the same title. Directed by Joyce E. Bernal, it stars Jennylyn Mercado and Gil Cuerva. It premiered on May 29, 2017 on the network's Telebabad line up replacing Destined to be Yours. The series concluded on August 11, 2017 with a total of 55 episodes. It was replaced by Mulawin vs. Ravena in its timeslot.

Gilberto "Jimmy" Roy Duavit Jr. is a Filipino businessman, philanthropist, producer, and writer. He is the president and chief operating officer of GMA Network Inc., one of the largest media networks in the Philippines. Duavit inherited the position from his father, Gilberto "Bibit" Duavit Sr., who was the network's founding chairman. Duavit first became involved with GMA in 1993 as a film producer for the network's production company, GMA Pictures, which was then named Cinemax Studios and later GMA Films. He produced some of the company's most successful films, including José Rizal (1998) and Muro-Ami (1999), both of which won the Metro Manila Film Festival Award for Best Picture successively. After his promotion as the network's vice president in 2000, Duavit became involved in the network's television production, having created the shows Liwanag ng Hatinggabi (1999–2000), Ang Iibigin ay Ikaw (2002–03), and Hanggang Kailan (2004).
