Afterwards, he was traded by the Baltimore Colts to the Bears for a seventh-round draft pick in the 1975 NFL draft.

Johnson was a five-time All-Star and won a Grey Cup with Calgary in 1992. He started his career in the NFL, playing for the Chicago Bears in 1987, where he was a linebacker. He was selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the 1987 NFL draft.

Menan Clyde Schriewer was an American football and Canadian football end. He attended Texas, and was a three-year letterman. Schriewer led the Longhorns in receiving in his junior and senior years, and recorded a total of 42 receptions for 690 yards and four touchdowns in his career. Schriewer was drafted by the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL) in the first round of the 1956 NFL draft. However, Schriewer eventually joined the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts, who offered Schriewer more money. With the Argonauts, Schriewer was named CFL All-Star in 1957. Schriewer joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1959, but rejoined the Argos a year later. He was inducted into the Longhorns Hall of Honor in 2009. In Schriewer's honor, the Menan Schriewer Offensive Lineman of the Award was created.
Ka'Deem Carey is an American professional football running back for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Arizona Wildcats, twice earning consensus All-American honors. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft. He played three seasons with the Bears before joining the Calgary Stampeders.

He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the ninth round of the 1984 NFL draft. He played college football at Montclair State University. Casale was also a member of the New York Knights of the Arena Football League (AFL).
Tom Adams was an American football end who played for the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was selected in the 17th round of the 1956 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears with the 202nd overall pick, but never played for the Bears.
