Kendell McFayden (born September 16, 1988) is an American soccer player and coach who plays as a forward. [1]
During his college years McFayden also played with the Austin Aztex U23 in the USL Premier Development League, scoring 8 goals in 16 games for the team. [2]
McFayden turned professional in 2010 when he signed with the Austin Aztex in the USSF Division 2 Professional League. He made his professional debut, and scored his first professional goal, on July 31, 2010, in a 3–1 victory over Miami FC. [3]
He was released by the Aztex at the end of the 2010 season, prior to their relocation to Florida and their rebranding as Orlando City. Having been unable to secure a professional contract elsewhere, McFayden signed to play with the Kitsap Pumas in the USL Premier Development League in 2011.
In March 2012 McFayden had a try out with USL Pro team Rochester Rhinos. He scored a goal in a preseason friendly against Colgate University. [4]
McFayden returned to hometown club FC Buffalo in 2014, achieving the remarkable feat of becoming both the club’s all-time leading goal scorer and the first FCB center back to be named to the NPSL Best XI. McFayden was the captain of FC Buffalo for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. [5]
McFayden works besides as soccer coach, from 2013 to 2015 as Assistant coach of the women soccer team of Medaille Mavericks [6] and from 2015 to 2016 as Assistant coach of the Men soccer team of Fredonia State Blue Devils. [7]

Austin Aztex FC was an American professional soccer team based in Austin, Texas, United States. Founded in 2008, the team played in USL First Division, and in USL Division of the USSF D2 Pro League, the second tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. In October 2010, the Aztex were relocated to Orlando, Florida and became Orlando City after Orlando USL's rights were purchased by Phil Rawlins. The team was resurrected in 2011 by minority owner David Markley as the Austin Aztex, which began play in the USL Premier Development League in 2012 and moved to United Soccer League in 2014.

Austin Aztex FC was an American soccer club based in Austin, Texas that was founded in 2008 by Phil Rawlins, a British entrepreneur. The Aztex began playing competitive soccer in the United Soccer Leagues (USL) First Division in the 2009 season and shared an affiliation agreement with Rawlins' hometown club, Stoke City, enabling the two clubs to exchange players and the English club to scout players and hold training camps in the US. Austin's first USL match was against the Minnesota Thunder on April 18, 2009. In the 2010 season, the team played its home games at House Park, which replaced Nelson Field as the club's home facility, and competed in the USSF Division 2 Professional League, a temporary league set up by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) to resolve a dispute between the USL and the proposed new North American Soccer League. The franchise relocated to Florida and became Orlando City SC at the conclusion of the 2010 season.

The 2015 Austin Aztex season was the club's fourth season of existence. The club is now playing in the United Soccer League, the third tier of the American soccer pyramid. They were previously in the USL PDL the last 3 seasons, where they won the 2013 Championship, and the appeared in the Conference Finals in 2012 and 2014. The Austin Aztex will be competing in the Western conference and will be playing their first season in the newly dubbed USL. The season will begin March 21 and conclude on September 20.
