Paul Stephen Ranheim is an American former professional ice hockey forward who played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Calgary Flames, Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes, Philadelphia Flyers and Phoenix Coyotes. He was a second round selection, 38th overall, at the 1984 NHL Entry Draft and played 1,013 games between 1988 and 2003. Internationally, he played with Team USA; He played in three World Championships and was a member of the bronze medal-winning squad at the 1986 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
Teams from 150 high schools competed as varsity ice hockey teams in Western and Eastern Pennsylvania. Unlike many other high school sport in Pennsylvania, hockey is not run under Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association umbrella. However, Pennsylvania's high school ice hockey is sanctioned by USA Hockey and varsity-level programs are marginally overseen by the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers organizations through the Penguins Cup and the Flyers Cup. However although it is considered a club it is still a part of the High School as a sport and is affiliated with the school. Erik Robert Johnson is an American ice hockey defenseman for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed the "Condor", Johnson previously played for the St. Louis Blues, who selected him with the first overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, as well as the Colorado Avalanche and the Buffalo Sabres. Additionally, he has represented the United States in numerous tournaments. Johnson won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022.

The Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan is a Scottish professional ice hockey team. It was formed in 2010 as the UK Elite Ice Hockey League expanded into the west of Scotland market, and are based at the Braehead Arena in Renfrewshire. The Mercyhurst Lakers men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association hockey team that represents Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania under Head Coach Rick Gotkin. The team is currently a Division I hockey team playing out of the Mercyhurst Ice Center located on the school campus. The Mercyhurst Lakers started out as a club sport at the school, moving up to Division III, followed by Division II, and now plays Division I in the Atlantic Hockey Association conference. After joining their step up into Division I in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 1998, the Lakers have won their conference tournament making NCAA tournament appearances in 2001, 2003, and 2005.

Fylde Flyers were an English ice hockey team based in Cleveleys, Lancashire founded in 2011. They play in the English National Ice Hockey League, North Two. Home games are played at the Sub Zero Ice Rink, Cleveleys. The team lasted for only 2 seasons due to the small nature of their home rink at Cleveleys leading to the inability to attract players that would allow them to be competitive.

NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe were 2 hockey games, they were a series of two outdoor regular season National Hockey League (NHL) games, held on the weekend of February 20–21, 2021. Both games were played without fans at a rink on the 18th fairway of the Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline, Nevada, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. The elevation of the rink was approximately 6,240 feet (1,900 m) above sea level.
Duane Edward Derksen is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former goaltender who was an All-American for Wisconsin and led the Peoria Rivermen to a Kelly Cup championship in 2000.
The Kenosha Chargers were an American semi-professional ice hockey team located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The team was in operation for two seasons in the Continental Hockey League. The franchise was the successor to the Kenosha Flyers and played out of the same arena. he Charger's first season met with success as the team tied for the league championship with the Springfield Kings, however, they were unable to win the championship. After the successful first season, Kenosha fell off a cliff and won just 3 of their 32 games the following season. The sudden and drastic fall drove away the fans and the franchise folded after the year.
