Kerry Lang (born 24 January 1976, in Glasgow, Scotland) is a British professional triathlete, Scottish Duathlon Champion and British Triathlon Vice Champion of the year 2009, and Scottish Road Race (Bike) Champion of the years 2007 and 2008. She has represented Great Britain in the World Championship Series since 2009 and she represented Great Britain in the Series' precursor, the BG World Cup, in 2007 and 2008.
Kerry Lang started her ITU career in 2004, when she won her first European Cup medal. In the seven years from 2004 to 2010, Lang took part in 39 ITU competitions and achieved 8 top ten positions. In the World Championship Series Ranking2011, Lang fell back to the 63rd position (August 2011) because she did not finish two races.
Kerry Lang also takes part in non ITU events, in 2011, for instance, she won the 15th International Lanzarote Duathlon (22 January 2011).
In France, Lang has represented the club Poissy at the prestigious Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux since 2008. In 2010, she placed 12th and 14th in Beauvais and Paris respectively. In 2011, she took part in the Grand Prix triathlon at Tours (28 August 2011), for this race, however, there is no individual ranking.
Kerry Lang holds a degree from the University of Edinburgh Medical School (MBChB, 1998) and from the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS, Glasgow 2001). She works in the ear, nose and throat department of Glasgow's Southern General Hospital. Kerry Lang lives in Elderslie. Her coach is Marc Jenkins, the husband of the Welsh triathlete Helen Jenkins.

Alistair Edward Brownlee MBE is an English triathlete. He is the only athlete to hold two Olympic titles in the individual triathlon event, winning gold medals in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. He is also a four-time World Champion in triathlon being Triathlon World Champion twice and World Team Champion twice, a four-time European Champion, and the 2014 Commonwealth champion. Brownlee is the only male athlete,, to have completed a grand slam of Olympic, World, and continental championships. Brownlee is also a one-time world champion in aquathlon. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest male Triathletes ever.

Charlotte Morel, is a French professional triathlete, twelve times National Champion in various duathlon and triathlon categories, e.g. National U23 Triathlon Champion of the years 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. Since 2006, Morel is a permanent member of the French National Team. In the French Club Championship Series, Morel represented the club Beauvais, which e.g. in 2006, 2009 and in 2010 won both the French Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux and the National Club Championships in Gruissan. Yevgeniya Vyacheslavovna Koshelnikova Sukhoruchenkova is a Russian professional triathlete, member of the Russian National Team (Duathlon), decorated with the Russian title Master of Sports, both U23 Duathlon European Champion and U23 Duathlon World Champion of the year 2009, and Russian Elite Aquathlon Champion 2011. In the Russian Cup of the year 2009 she placed fifth, sharing this position with Natalia Shliakhtenko.

The World Triathlon Championship Series is an annual series of triathlon events organised by World Triathlon. The series is used to crown an annual world champion since 2008. Previously, the ITU world champion between 1989 and 2008 had been decided in a single annual championship race.
