Kevin Monroe Isaac is a diplomat representing Saint Kitts and Nevis. He has been the High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Kingdom since 12 January 2011. He is the first career diplomat to be appointed High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to London. [1] [2] Isaac is the Saint Kitts and Nevis Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization, and Governor on the Board of the Commonwealth Secretariat. [3]

Isaac graduated from Birmingham University with an MA in International Studies in 1995 [3] and was awarded the honorary degree of DUniv by Birmingham University in 2012. [3]

The monarchy of Saint Kitts and Nevis is a system of government in which a hereditary monarch is the sovereign and head of state of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Sir Edmund Wickham Lawrence was the third governor-general of Saint Kitts and Nevis from 2013 to 2015. He was sworn in at midnight on 1 January 2013. Sir Edmund is Methodist. Sir Edmund taught in elementary schools in St. Kitts between 1951 and 1954. He graduated from the University of London in 1966 with a degree in Economics.

Sir Cuthbert Montraville Sebastian was the second governor-general of Saint Kitts and Nevis from 1996 to 2013. He was appointed Governor-General in 1995 and was sworn in on 1 January 1996. While in office, he was the world's oldest serving de facto head of state. His retirement was announced on 25 December 2012 and became effective on 1 January 2013.

Mark Anthony Graham Brantley is the Premier of Nevis, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and former Minister of Foreign Affairs for St Kitts and Nevis. On May 10, 2022, Dr Timothy Harris, having lost the support of the elected majority to function as Prime Minister and facing a historic Motion of No Confidence in the National Parliament, decided to dissolve the Parliament and purported to revoke the appointment of more than 50% of his former Cabinet, including Brantley. Brantley previously served as the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly of Saint Kitts and Nevis . He is married and has 2 daughters. Brantley studied law at the University of the West Indies, obtained his Legal Education Certificate of Merit from Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica and also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford, St. Catherine College. Prior to entering politics, Brantley worked as an attorney.
