Kevin Konar (born July 8, 1958 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a former star linebacker for the BC Lions.

After playing his university football with the University of British Columbia, Konar would play 10 years with the Leos, from 1980 to 1989, and three Grey Cups (1983, 1985 and 1988) and one championship (in 1985). [1] He was a CFL All Star two times.

The Vancouver Blazers were a professional ice hockey team that played in the World Hockey Association from 1973–1975. The Blazers played at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia, sharing the facility with the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League. The Blazers were owned by local businessman Jim Pattison. The franchise moved to Vancouver after a single season in Philadelphia. Unable to establish a strong fan base in Vancouver, the team was moved again in 1975 to become the Calgary Cowboys.

Dean Valli

Dean Valli is an offensive lineman with the Canadian Football League's British Columbia Lions. Valli attended Simon Fraser University and played for their football team, the Simon Fraser Clan. He played four full seasons with the Clan from 2002 to 2005. Dean graduated with a bachelor of arts from Simon Fraser University in 2006. In 2005, Valli was named to the Canada West Universities Athletic Association all-star team. He also represented SFU at the 2005 East West Bowl held in Waterloo, Ontario. Valli was selected in the 1st round, 6th overall, by the Lions in the 2006 CFL draft. 2006 was his first year playing professional football.

Adam Konar is a Canadian football linebacker for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was originally drafted 25th overall in the 2015 CFL Draft by the Edmonton Eskimos and played for four seasons with the team. He played CIS football for the Calgary Dinos.
