Khandaker Abu Taher is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Tangail-6.
Taher was elected to parliament from Tangail-6 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1991. [1]
Abdul Kader Siddique is a Bangladeshi politician. He served as a Mukti Bahini member and organizer of the Bangladesh Liberation War. He fought with an estimated 17,000-strong guerrilla force in the Tangail region against the Pakistan Army. The army was called Kaderia Bahini. At the end of the war in 1971,Siddique's forces entered Dhaka along with the Indian forces,signaling the end of the war. He was awarded Bir Uttom by the Government of Bangladesh.
