The Khedivial Agricultural Society was the first Egyptian agricultural society founded in 1898 under the patronage of Husayn Kamil. The foundation of the Khedivial Agricultural Society was impelled by the lack of a local, Egyptian controlled agricultural society that could conduct scientific studies to mitigate agricultural problems under the British Occupation.

Sherif Sabri Pasha Egyptian politician

Sherif Sabri Pasha, born in Cairo in 1895, was the brother of Nazli Sabri, Queen consort of Egypt. He was thus the maternal uncle of Nazli's son King Farouk I, and served on the three-member Regency Council that was formed in 1936-37 during the latter's minority. Sherif Pasha Sabri was 41 years old at the time, and had previously held the post of Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs.

The Egyptian Geographic Society was established by a decree of Khedive Ismail Pasha on 19 May 1875. Its first president was the German botanist, traveller and ethnologist Georg August Schweinfurth. Founded as the Khedivial Society of Geography, its name was modified several times in order to reflect Egypt's changing political status. It acquired its current name following the Egyptian Revolution of 1952.

Its foundation began in 1958 during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser through the efforts of Tharwat Okasha, Egypt's culture minister at the time, and Leonid Lavrovsky, the former artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet, who took a group of Egyptian dancers to Russia for two years of training. At the time of its founding, it was the only Arab resident classical ballet company in the Middle East. The Company director was Enayat Azmi.

Albania-Egypt relations refers to the bilateral relations between the two countries. Albania has an embassy in Cairo, and Egypt has an embassy in Tirana. Diplomatic relations between Albania and Egypt were established in 1958. Both countries are members of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
