Subedar Joginder Singh is a 2018 Indian Punjabi-language biographical war film based on the life of Joginder Singh, an Indian soldier who was killed in the 1962 Sino-Indian War and posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. It is produced by Saga Music and is set to release by 6 April 2018. The film stars Gippy Grewal and Aditi Sharma and is directed by Simerjit Singh who belongs to the same region of Moga where Joginder Singh was born. This movie was a high budget film. The film is authentic to that in the era of 1962.

She started her career through Punjabi music videos, television soap operas and telefilms in the earlier days and ended up appearing in the films. Janjot Singh is an Punjabi film director associated with Rhythm Boyz Production. He started his career assisting the direction for films Jatt James Bond (2014) and Sardaar Ji (2015), and made his direction debut in 2019 with Chal Mera Putt (2019), which became the highest-grossing Punjabi films overseas. Also, the film was nominated for Best Comedy Film, and Singh was nominated for Best Debut Director at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2020.
