Khodi Feiz (born 1963) is an industrial designer specialized in the fields of product design, furniture design, branding and strategic design.
Khodi (Khodayar) Feiz (1963) was born in Iran and moved to the United States at the age of 14. Feiz studied Industrial Design at Syracuse University where his thesis project was a winner of the International Design Competition, Osaka in 1987. [1] After graduation he worked for Texas Instruments Design Center and in 1990 moved to The Netherlands to work for Philips Design. At Philips Feiz was appointed project leader for Philips' Vision of the Future in 1996. [2] In 1998, he founded Feiz Design Studio together with graphic designer Anneko Feiz-van Dorssen, where they specialize in the fields of product design, furniture design, and strategic design for multi-national companies such as Alessi, Artifort, Cappellini, Herman Miller, Logitech, Nokia, Offecct, Philips, Samsung and Swedese. [3] [4] In 2003 Feiz' work was presented in a solo exhibition at Vivid Gallery, Rotterdam. [5] [6] In 2014 Feiz was appointed as the art director for the Dutch furniture brand Artifort. [7] The overriding inspirations for Feiz’s work can be summed up by: Clarity, concept and context. [3] [4]

Uta Ranke-Heinemann was a German theologian, academic, and author. In 1969, she was the first woman in the world to be habilitated in Catholic theology. She held a chair of ancient Church history and the New Testament at the University of Duisburg-Essen. When her license to teach was revoked by the bishop because of her critical position in matters of faith, the university created a nondenominational chair of History of Religion. Her 1988 book Eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven, criticising the Catholic Church's stance on women and sexuality, was published in several editions, and translated in 12 languages. Her 1992 book Nein und Amen, revised in 2002, said there were "fairy tales you don't need to believe to have a living faith".
Achille Castiglioni was an Italian architect and designer of furniture, lighting, radiograms and other objects. As a professor of design, he advised his students "If you are not curious, forget it. If you are not interested in others, what they do and how they act, then being a designer is not the right job for you."

Peter Zec is a German design consultant as well as author and publisher. Furthermore, he is president (2005–2007) of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid), the global organisation that promotes better design around the world, and initiator of the Red Dot Design Award. In October 2006, the German business magazine “Wirtschaftswoche” elected him one of the “20 creative unconventional thinkers changing the appearance of their companies and creating completely new markets”.
The Red Dot Design Award is a German international design prize awarded by Red Dot GmbH & Co. KG. There are prize categories for product design, brands and communication design, and design concept. Since 1955, designers and producers can apply for the prizes, with the winners being presented in an annual ceremony. Winning products are presented among others in the Red Dot Design Museum on the premises of the historical Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen. The Red Dot Design Museum Essen, the first Red Dot Design Museum, was built in 1997. The second Red Dot Design Museum was built in Singapore in 2005. The Red Dot Design Award had more than 15,500 submissions from 70 countries in 2014, and in 2016 alone, 1,559 Red Dots were awarded, 102 of them in the "Best of the Best" category. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the design industry.

Walter Heidenfels is a German industrial designer and one of the key principles of TEAMS Design GmbH in Hamburg, Germany. He is known for his work for companies such as Schmersal and Busch-Jaeger. Heidenfels has been instrumental in extending long term relationships with companies such as Robert Bosch GmbH and Still Forklift. He specializes in 3D CAD, such as Rhinoceros 3D, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks and Unigraphics to bring his designs to life.
Dror Benshetrit is an Israeli artist, designer and inventor based in New York City. He opened his studio Dror in 2002 in New York and focuses on product, interior, installation and architectural design. His major works include a structural support system named Quadror, Galataport Masterplan in Istanbul, Türkiye, and the Cappellini Peacock chair. His studio partners with top tier companies, developers, and institutions including but not limited to Alessi, Bentley, Tumi, Levi's, Boffi, Louis Vuitton, and Target. Dror's work is in the permanent collections of major museums in North America, Europe and the Middle East, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Kristiina Lassus is a Finnish product designer and interior architect. Kristiina Lassus graduated from the University of Industrial Arts of Helsinki (UIAH) with a Master of Arts (MA) in Design Leadership in 1992 and further specialized in product development at the Helsinki University of Technology in 1993. She had her second MA in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from the UIAH in 1995.
Tokyo Design Week (TDW), formally known as Tokyo Designers Week, was an annual design event that occurred from 2005–2016, at Meiji Jingu Gaien in central Tokyo, Japan. The event featured product design, interior design and had expanded to include art and graphic design as well as short films. Since 2005, Tokyo Design Week had been held at Meiji Jingu Gaien, near Gaienmae Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.

Gábor Palotai is a Swedish–Hungarian designer, artist, graphic designer and typographer. Since 1981 he lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. Gábor Palotai was born 1956 in Budapest, Hungary, where he also studied and received his MA degree in graphic design at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest 1976–1980. After his graduation he left Budapest and moved to Stockholm, where he continued his studies at The Royal Institute of Art, 1981–1983 and Beckmans College of Design, 1983–1984. Gábor Palotai is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2002. AGI unites the world’s leading graphic designers. He is also a member of Svenska tecknare, Konstnärernas riksorganisation, and since 2015, the State Heraldic Board of the National Archives of Sweden. Gábor Palotai is an honorary professor at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, and in 2021 he received the Knight’s Cross Order of Merit of Hungary.

She is recognized for her gentle and elaborately detailed expressions of form, and she has received very high acclaim primarily throughout Asia. She is one of the most influential female designers in Japan, and she served as Chair of the Judging Committee for the Good Design Award from 2018 to 2020. She is a Japan Design Committee member.
