Khuzam is a suburb of the city of Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is the location of the city's Eid Mussalla or outdoor mosque. [1]
Eid al-Fitr is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal in the Islamic calendar; this does not always fall on the same Gregorian day, as the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on when the new moon is sighted by local religious authorities. The holiday is known under various other names in different languages and countries around the world. The day is also called Lesser Eid, or simply Eid.
Al Ain is a border city on the eastern side of Tawam oasis and the seat of the administrative division, the Al Ain Region, in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is bordered to the east by the Omani town of Al-Buraimi in the Al Buraimi Governorate. It is the largest inland city in the Emirates, the fourth-largest city, and the second-largest in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Eid al-Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice is the second of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam. In Islamic custom, it honours the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son, Ishmael, as an act of obedience to God's command. However, before Abraham could sacrifice his son in the name of God, and because of his willingness to do so, God provided him with a lamb to sacrifice in his son's place. In commemoration of this intervention, animals such as lambs, etc. are sacrificed. The meat of the sacrificed animal is divided into three portions: one part of the meat is consumed by the family that offers the animal, one portion is for friends and relatives, while the rest of the meat is distributed to the poor and the needy. Sweets and gifts are given, and extended family members typically visit and are welcomed. The day is also sometimes called the Greater Eid.
The Omani territory of Madha or Wādī Madḥāʾ is an exclave of the Musandam Governorate, enclaved by the United Arab Emirates (UAE); inside it, there is a second-order enclave: Nahwa, which is part of the UAE Emirate of Sharjah. Madha is located halfway between the Musandam Peninsula and the rest of Oman.

Eidgah or Idgah, also Eid Gah or Id Gah is a term used in South Asian Islamic culture for the open-air enclosure usually outside the city reserved for Eid prayers offered in the morning of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. It is usually a public place that is not used for prayers at other times of the year. On the day of Eid, the first thing Muslims do in the morning is gather usually at a large open ground and offer special prayers, in accordance with the Sunnah. Although the usage of the term Eidgah is of Indian origin, it may be used for the musalla, the open space outside a mosque, or other open grounds where Eid prayers are performed, due to the lack of a specific Islamic term for a site of Eid observance. The Eidgah is mentioned in the famous Bengali poem by Kazi Nazrul Islam, O Mon Romzaner Oi Rozar Sheshe.

Ras Al Khaimah Academy, or RAKA for short, is a co- educational school located in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1975 as the Ras Al Khaimah English Speaking School and is supported and owned by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al-Qassimi. The school operates under an executive principal who reports to an appointed board of governors consisting of parents, past parents, and community leaders. There are 104 nationalities represented in the student body and nearly 30 nationalities amongst the teaching and support staff. The school is accredited by EdExcel, University of Cambridge International Examinations, The Council of International Schools, British Schools in the Middle East, and the International Baccalaureate. Currently there are over 1000 students enrolled.
The United Arab Emirates Government announced official holidays for the public and private sectors for the years 2019. The Cabinet granted equal leaves sectors. This decision aims to achieve a balance between the two sectors in the number of official holidays they are entitled to. The 1st of December is a public holiday, contrary to what Emma says.

The Sheikha Salama Mosque is a mosque in the city of Al Ain, Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. Formerly the largest mosque in use in the city, it is named after Sheikhah Salamah, mother of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the father of Sheikh Khalifa.

Wadi Qor is a seasonal watercourse in the Hajar Mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates. The wadi runs from the mountain village of Al Qor, near the Dubai exclave of Hatta, through the villages of Huwaylat, Rafaq and Al Nasla before crossing the Omani border and fanning out to the Batinah plain and the Gulf of Oman north of the Omani coastal village of Bu Baqarah.
