The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is a private, Catholic university with its main campus in San Antonio and Alamo Heights, Texas. Founded in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the university's main campus is located on 154 acres (0.6 km2). It is the largest Catholic university in Texas.

Following his playing career he coached at the collegiate level as an assistant coach for Connecticut and Saint Louis, and subsequently as a head coach for Saint Louis and Rutgers.
Tom Soehn is an American soccer coach who is the head coach of USL Championship club Birmingham Legion. A former player, his career as a defender spanned seven clubs across 12 seasons, both indoors and outdoors.

Elvis Comrie is an English-American former football player and coach. A forward, he played three seasons in the North American Soccer League, one in Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the American Indoor Soccer Association, two in the American Soccer League and one in the American Professional Soccer League. Comrie earned four caps with the U.S. national team in 1984. Comrie worked briefly as a stockbroker and was formerly a college soccer coach, primarily at Holy Cross. He was also the head coach of the Worcester Hydra of the USL Premier Development League in 2012.
Amos Hart Magee is the Director of Player Personnel for Minnesota United FC. As a player, he is the Wesleyan University Cardinals all-time leading scorer, won a bronze medal with Team USA at the 1993 Maccabiah Games in Israel, is the Minnesota Thunder all-time leading scorer, and played for the Tampa Bay Mutiny and the Chicago Fire. As a coach, he was Head Coach of the Minnesota Thunder and assistant coach for D.C. United. In the front office, formerly he was Director of Soccer Development for the Portland Timbers. He has been inducted into the Wesleyan University Hall of Fame, the Minnesota Thunder Hall of Fame, and the United Soccer League Hall of Fame.

Mark Schulte is an American retired soccer player who last played for Carolina RailHawks in the USSF Division 2 Professional League. He is currently the Formulations Lead Scientist at LoamBio. His research interests are gas to liquid fuels. In addition to his research activities, Mark serves as a teaching assistant for a graduate transport phenomena course.
Mark Abboud is a retired American soccer midfielder who played two season in the American Professional Soccer League, one in the National Professional Soccer League, and seven in the USISL and USL A-League. He also played in France, Belgium and the UAE.

David Vaudreuil is an American former professional soccer player whose career spanned fifteen teams in over six leagues including seven seasons in Major League Soccer, winning two MLS Cups with DC United and a Mexican Pro Indoor championship with Puebla FC. He is the former head coach of the Atlanta Silverbacks and the Tulsa Roughnecks, and was an assistant coach with the New England Revolution. Vaudreuil is the owner and Head Coach of the UPSL Conquistadores in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
Omid Namazi is an Iranian-American former professional soccer player and coach. Namazi is a USSF “Pro” coaching license holder. Namazi played professionally as a defender in the American Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League, Major League Soccer, USISL and National Professional Soccer League where he was the 2001 Defender of the Year and he played for United States national futsal team. He is a two-time Coach of the Year in the Major Indoor Soccer League and coached in the Women's United Soccer Association. As assistant coach of Iran, he led the team to qualification to the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

The USL Championship final is the post-season championship match of the USL Championship, the second tier of professional men's soccer in the United States. The winner is crowned champion in the same manner as in other North American sports leagues.
