Kill the Lights is a Welsh and American heavy metal supergroup founded in 2019 by former singer of Throw the Fight James Clark and former drummer of Bullet for My Valentine Michael "Moose" Thomas. [1] In 2021, they were joined by bassist Jason "Jay" James, also formerly of Bullet for My Valentine. The band is currently signed to the American record label Fearless Records.

Contents

Their debut album The Sinner was released in 2020 and generally received positive feedback. [2] [3] [4] Their second album Death Melodies was released in March 2024.

Musical style

Their music is considered metalcore with elements of classic metal. [5] One of their lyrical themes are the struggles of singer James with mental health, anxiety and depression. [6]
