Third is the third album by American rock band Big Star. The sessions started at Ardent Studios in September 1974. Though Ardent created promotional, white-label test pressings for the record in 1975, a combination of financial issues, the uncommercial sound of the record, and lack of interest from singer Alex Chilton and drummer Jody Stephens in continuing the project prevented the album from ever being properly finished or released at the time of its recording. It was eventually released in 1978 by PVC Records.

Burnt Weeny Sandwich is the seventh album by the American rock band the Mothers of Invention, and the ninth overall by Frank Zappa, released in 1970. It consists of both studio and live recordings. Following the Mothers' split in late 1969, Zappa assembled two albums of unreleased recordings by the band - this album and its follow-up Weasels Ripped My Flesh. Burnt Weeny Sandwich focuses mostly on studio recordings and tightly arranged compositions, while Weasels Ripped My Flesh focuses mostly on live recordings and loose/improvisational pieces. Both albums also include some outtakes/leftovers from the sessions for Zappa's 1969 solo album Hot Rats.

Changes is the ninth studio album by the American pop rock band the Monkees, released in 1970 by Colgems Records. The album was issued after Michael Nesmith's exit from the band, leaving only Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones to fulfill the recording contract they had signed in the mid-1960s. Changes was their last new album for Colgems Records and the group's last album of all new material until Pool It!, released in 1987.
The First Seven Inches is the first EP released by punk band Sloppy Seconds. It was released in 1987 on the band's own Alternative Testicles label. In 1992, it was reissued on Taang! Records under the title The First Seven Inches...And Then Some! along with 10 bonus tracks of various b-sides and outtakes from the band's first two albums and prior. The CD release included the Misfits cover "Where Eagles Dare." For the album's 1999 reissue, the band's Lonely Christmas EP is included as a bonus disk.

Christine Perfect is the debut solo album of former Chicken Shack keyboardist and singer Christine Perfect. The album was released just after Perfect had left Chicken Shack, but before she joined Fleetwood Mac. Released in 1970, the album was originally meant to be titled I'm on My Way as evidenced on copies of the pre-LP single release "I'm Too Far Gone ". The album was re-released in 1976 as The Legendary Christine Perfect Album, and in 2008 as Christine Perfect - The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions. Ironically, its name notwithstanding, the 2008 reissue is missing one song, i.e. her cover of "I'd Rather Go Blind," although it does include several bonus tracks.

Refugee is the seventh studio album by British hard rock/heavy metal band Samson, released in 1990 by Communiqué Records. It was the only album with Scottish singer Peter Scallan, who replaced previous singer Nicky Moore. Originally released in 1990, it was reissued by Thunderbolt Records with the studio outtake "Don't Tell Me It's Over". It was also reissued in 2018 by Cherry Red Records as part of a 3-CD box set Look to the Future, Refugee & P.S..., remastered from the original production tape, and includes four bonus tracks from the 1989 Tommy Vance BBC Friday Rock Show session.
